After playing so many porn games I'm surprised cuddling and hugs would be my fetish. This game has unlocked my intimacy fetish. Some games feel off now because they don't cuddle or sleep together after. View attachment 4752266
Yeah, I just finished a game that was awesome and first (for the first part) and rushed after that and it was off that the never cuddle or kiss if it's not during sex. Like.... they're in a relationship but never kiss? Only when they fuck? Okay...

I've been with my wife for 32 years, we kiss 20+ times a day... for this or for that... or simply because... I don't understand these devs. And Hugs? Can't count them... Maybe we are the weirdos...

Peace :(

I'm glad we are weirdos and game like GH exist then.

I'm in poly relationships and like... we kiss everyday and always hug, like she grab something in the fridge and I hug her, or I'm cooking and they come hug me from behind just because the wanted to and say"I love you" and go work or doing what they were doing.

Hugs & Kisses for the win my Giant friend!

You guys go so deep for a porn game,
balls deep.
Please read this as me saying it without any animosity.

Does it really matter if the game is "Porn" or not? We like what we like, we are who we are.

Yes, we go deep. Because otherwise it wouldn't mean anything. Surely you can comprehend that spending hours and hours doing something meaningless is simply "work" or "stupid", since we aren't getting paid, it would be "stupid".

So, yeah. We go deep.

------------------------------------

There's another thing.

I detest, in a rather personal level, that people feel the need to point out that this is Porn. Porn Games, Porn Site, porn this, porn that... Are you afraid we don't know? That we have forgotten where we are? For What reason?

To me, these are simply stories. Sure, they talk about sex. So does most of the YA novels. But sex isn't porn. So, it is reductive to classify ALL AVN's as Porn, even if many are. So, the best way to deal with this is to avoid the qualifiers. If and when one of the AVN's is indeed Porn, like this one, that never pretended to be anything else, it can be correctly applied.

Peace :(

For me, I wouldn't go as far as it being a fetish, but it definitely showed me I'd appreciate that a bit more in these games. Definitely didn't realize that at all till this game, lol. I might be playing the wrong games though because most that I've played, the characters don't seem much like characters enough for me to want that with them... but in thinking about it just now, lol, maybe adding those kinds of things would make them feel more like actual characters.

Congrats on 32 years!! WTG on that.

Well, I think you kind of answered what it likely is, most of the devs (as well as most of their players) aren't really married and that may impact how they see relationships. Clearly this isn't true of all devs. Also, arguably, these games take a lot of their cues from porn which is mostly severely lacking in the closeness (I guess that's the best words) department. Nothing weird about wanting more wholesome in such things, imho. At least it could do for some more variety.

It's crazy, but one of the most memorable things for me in any game I played, despite me not playing this one for awhile... was the character that seemed like a tough as nails kind of woman ends up softening up to the MC (depending on your choices) and at some point you're sitting on a bench with her and she tries to come off as hating the idea of you just holding her... but she clearly likes it but just has trust issues with letting her guard down. I actually remember that more fondly than the sex, haha.

I'll say giving wholesome moments and the MC being able to uplift women is a strength of this game in my opinion.

So does this mean that you can now appreciate why Amy hasn't jumped on his cock yet?
Because that's her "character" & her "character" has an emotional issue with it.
It's really not about "someone being OK with waiting & others not". It's much more about paying attention to the information given in the story, then managing our expectations accordingly.

I presume that's why you kept referring to her as a "tease" previously, when she's actually someone who's been through a pretty major trauma.
She has very good reasons, clearly laid out in the story, for not being so quick to jump on MCs dick.
I mean, it would be pretty weird for someone who'd been savagely beaten by a man to then suddenly want to jump into a sexual relationship with the next guy.
It would completely undermine & invalidate the whole point of her backstory.

Like in RL, different people move at different paces & need differing amounts of time to get over things that happen to them.
Two people can go through the same experience together, but one is hardly affected, whereas the other is almost psychologically debilitated by it.
I still do not think "Amy" is a real person. I think she is a fictional character the dev created for this game and that the dev also created the story for her. Because of this, the "reasons" in the game are also made up. Amy and her story/reasons will never be real life to me and are just things the dev created for the game.

I'd explain again why this addresses the points you repeated but some of you seem to not care about understanding anyone else's view and prefer vilifying instead. It doesn't seem to matter to you if you're wrong, even about what I'm saying (hence the continued addressing of things I didn't say nor imply)... in fact it seems like, to you, it's impossible for you to be wrong so there's no point in me explaining since all you seem interested in hearing from me is "I'm so sorry for my ways and your view and only your view is the acceptable one here." else you just ignore everything I say basically.

Well, me saying that won't happen so feel free to ignore me.

Just how exactly do you know what Moonbox was thinking when he wrote the original script for the game? Is it absolutely necessary to tell all of the ladies' life stories in the very first chapter(s)? No - it adds to the mystery, and unfolding it as it goes enriches it even more.

I don't like Amy stalling as long as she has either (I was open about that not too long ago). I think it was drawn out too long, but only from a real life perspective, not an in-game perspective. Complaining about it taking years for her to warm up is one thing (it's an US problem, not a her problem). Complaining about the story not giving you 100% disclosure right up front is a bit obtuse and unnecessary.

Feel free to keep reporting off-topic posts. Though it won't endear -anyone- to your line of thinking.

We go off-topic to keep things out here jovial, light, and enjoyable. That's the kind of people we are. If you can't go there every now and then, perhaps that's not the kind of person you are. To each their own - but it doesn't make the story Moonbox came up with any less valid or entertaining. It's not meant to fully please everyone; it's meant to try and please a lot of people, and from that perspective it's succeeded. The "story" as it were, has always been secondary to the relationships, and likely always will be.
Just remember, go along with her requests. It will take a while, but it will be worth it.

Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I understand what has been going on here. Like I said, my goal is always to try to understand anyone I'm engaging with, regardless of their intent and I think I do... tho I could be wrong.

I think that, understandably, y'all misunderstood me to be calling Amy's character a tease... like she as a "person" is teasing the player. While I think that it should have been clear enough based on everything else that I was saying (and or not saying such as never attacking the specifics of her story) to know this isn't what I was saying, I admit it is reasonable to have drawn that conclusion.

No, Amy's character isn't that she's the type of person to tease the MC. I was saying that the dev is teasing us with her. So I was saying that some people would be okay with the dev drawing things out with her for as long as it has been, others wouldn't be okay with that game design... neither are wrong. But yes, if someone is saying that Amy's character is the kind that she is just teasing the player, clearly they misunderstood the story.

I sincerely hope this clarifies things. If I'm wrong about this being the point of misunderstanding, I hope (don't demand) at least one of you is willing to try to explain how/why it isn't... and what actually is the problem.

The Dev is teasing us with Amy, the same way that J.R.R.Tolkien did with the fucking ring.

It's called a plot point. Obviously we all know that this is a Story, that it is fiction, that it is controlled by a writer, that someone is holding the reins, that we are but passengers on this bus and the driver is the only one that knows the way.

We all know that Amy withholding her unavoidable consent is but a tactic to keep us engaged in the story and giving us something to hope for.

What you are trying to point out is to the 4th wall. We all know it's there.

The thing is, we are NOT bothered by the artifice of "Yet", we don't truly care that it is taking X amount of time, or what made up reasons there are to keep the plot relatable. What we do care about is that it all makes sense, or, at the very least "some" sense so we are not hitting our heads on the said 4th wall.

Or are you under the impression that no one here knows that this is a story controlled and manipulated by MoonBox? The simple fact that we play it, should tell you that we are not only OK with it, but we actually enjoy it.

I think you fell into some kind of error, which one, I cannot say.

Peace :)

Then your hostile reactions, and or arguing against what I was repeatedly saying when much of it has been the same as what you just said, is odd. I even stated some people would be fine with the delay as long as the reason makes sense to them and that wasn't wrong. Just seems like you don't care what I say, you're determined to vilify me/my words, even if they actually align with your thinking. But cool. Think you've won a discussion and or made me look foolish if it makes you feel better. It is what it is.
