When you update, do you just overwrite the previous install or do you delete the game and install fresh (making a backup of save folder and moving that to new install)? Overwriting leaves room for error.
Do you also use the correct incest patch (or walkthrough with patch)? Incorrect incest patch version might cause issues, although I don't know for sure if that applies here.

I just download the new version--like I always do. but, yes--I've used the proper patch.

MB has separated them to keep the files under 5gb. Just save at the "save here" part at the end of part 2 and load that in part 3 (0.38).

Most AVN games do this to keep it under 5GB. So you might want to get used to this process as you're very likely to run into it again and again.

If you have all 3 parts of part 3 (0.38-0.40) and have installed the patch correctly and imported a save from part 2 and you still getting those error then I'm at a loss I'm afraid
