1- If that person wanted to use their brain to solve the issue, they wouldn't have tried to make others use theirs to answer them.
2- If search was even satisfying to merit the name of answer, this user wouldn't be able to make themselves important enough by asking a question.
You see Mal, the problem here is NOT that that person wants to know if the parts can be joined, no that's not it. What they want is to point at something so astoundingly obvious and mock everyone for NOT thinking about it first. They want that immortalizing moment of being the one that smashes the bottom of the egg to make it stand vertical.
Because it isn't possible that someone looks at a game with 5 parts, 39,012 comments, on this forum alone, and goes, "Oh, why has none of this idiots ever even thought of joining all the parts, I have to be the one that suggests this."
So, they did. They asked an asinine question that has one ONLY purpose: Call everyone stupid and aggrandize themselves.
Do you think that anyone that comes here with that purpose in mind, will, instead, use the Search function to find the answer? I don't.

You could just read Horus Heresy between scenes, plenty story there. That's usually what I do, play a couple of scenes, jack off and read Warhammer books with post nut clarity.

Because sometimes when you are so close to something it's hard to evaluate it objectively. Taking feedback from others can often help improve a product and give you a perspective you hadn't really considered.
I already mentioned that I respect MB's decision, and I'm not one to complain about someone else's work. It was feedback (now from multiple people) who simply expressed a desire for a change they thought would help the game. If that's not where MB wants to go with it, so be it. The game is light fun and highly whimsical, and will likely stay that way without a story behind it. If MB is happy, more power to him. But it doesn't invalidate the value of suggestions.
