While growing up, in Angola, I had several friends from the Bushmen race, also called pygmies. The average height of the adult males is under 1,40 m or something like that. Even at 9 years old, they were hardly as tall as my tits, even when they were 1 and 2 years older than me.

Being a "Giant" is always relative.

I was also friends with guys from the Kwanhama tribe, one that the average height of the whole tribe (males and females) is above 1,85m. With many of it's members being above 2.10m. To them, I was only a bit shorter than them. We could look each other in the eyes.

Already here in Portugal, I was usually the tallest or the 2nd tallest in the same year as me in school, but also the youngest. Was I a Giant? To them, certainly.

When I was 16 I started playing Basketball, I was on the tallest of the team, but there was always someone taller.

But, when I went out with my step-father, no one was even as tall as my shoulder.

The thing is, I am NOT a Giant, but I was called so, by people to whom I was indeed one. So, I dunno... I use the nickname I was given because I read it as ironic, and, to be honest, I got used to it after 30 years.

Been play ch1 for a while now. Got two questions.
1) is there a way to tell how far through you are (I hate getting a surprise ending) Just finished getting the car done.
2) Do we get to 'help' the neighbour lady (can't remember her name) in ch1....I remember quite early mc saying that he'd help.

If animation is important to you, this is not your game. Moon wouldn't be able to release two updates a month if there were animations, and I think the game is better for that, but obviously, ymmv.

The fact you say you watched this game a long time but in the same breath you ask if it has animation tells me you are lying either to gain attention to yourself, you are using an alternate account, or you just wanted to troll. Anyone that has followed this game "for a long time" will already know the answer to your question, even you, and if that's not enough to point out your flawed question, you didn't even seem to bother checking the tags that are listed in the first page that tell anyone with half a brain everything they need to know what to expect when they download and play this and any other game in F95 zone, so kudos for calling yourself out on your own blatant mashed potatoes for brains, though even mashed potatoes seem smarter than you based on your comment.

2 things that I couldn't let pass me by here...

1- The start of this game is also the start of the Dev on this. Yes, the interface is the stock one from Ren'Py. It is used by everyone when starting, because it is simple and works. This is later on changed on Part 2 and later refined on Part 4. So, yes you have a point, but, you should not judge that fast. Anyway, your problem was solved later on.

2- Animations? No. It even has a notice on the OP page. I don't think you really care about why, but, this was a conscientious decision by the Dev. He chose to produce content faster without animations and a few other tricks, in order to achieve a high volume of content in a short release cycle. This was initially a 1 update per month with around 750/800 stills per update (on a PC not equipped with a RTS level GPU), then later when he decided to make this game is bread winner to 2 updates per month (Day 1 and day 15) with around 600 stills per update. To do this, he had to cut corners, not only was he inexperienced in the 3D world, he also didn't have a good enough rendering machine. One of those corners was Animations.

We that have played this from the start, we really don't even notice the lack of them. Who knows, maybe you'll get into it also...

Anyway. Play it. Don't play it. Do whatever floats your boat. Just know that neither the interface that you see so very little of, nor the animations play a role in what makes this game special. And, no, I will not spoil it for you.
