When I load old saves it goes back to the starting screen again. Has been happening since last 3 to 4 game updates. I always download the whole game and not updates.

Each save is specific to the game Part it was made with. Don't expect a Part 1-5 save to load properly with Part 6 (the only exception would be the Part 5 Save Now save working with Part 6, etc). The same goes for every other save you make.

If that's not the problem you're having, you may want to delete the game folder, back-up the renpy data folder for GH, then delete it, then re-download and re-unpack the game. Run it once to create data folders, then exit. Restore (copy) your PART specific save (just the one) back to where the game makes them, then fire up the game again and try loading it.

I don't recall the exact reason for the vacation, but aren't we going to Europe with Amy because she needs to work with Elaine again? If so, I'm pretty sure MC's going to see her as well.

Also, we didn't see Shawna again until much, much, much later, to the point that I didn't expect that we'd see her again, so anything is possible with Elaine.

Now the question is where is the renpy data folder?

Windows Key + R key opens the Run interface. Type in: %appdata% then hit Enter.

The GH folder you're looking for is under: \AppData\Roaming\RenPy Make a copy of the GH folder underneath, then delete it from there. Rest of the instructions still apply. You're just trying to clean up any bad data that may have made it's way in and do a test with a fresh set, plus one save game from the same Part you're trying to run.

Man this game is crazy, every time I play a new update I feel like I'm playing a new game. I'm hit with plots that apparently happened but don't remember, as well as ladies feel new but which I don't remember either, except for those in the house atm and the irish clans' girls.

I know what you mean , I remember characters, many of which have been impregnated by the mc in my play through and wondering if the next update includes them.

I dont want to be too much of a kiss ass but I am truely hooked on this game, so much so, that for me, playing the game is like watching a hit TV series on some streaming platform e.g. Netflix and at somepoint I should do a financial donation to the developer(s) to express my gratidue for their hardwork

I told Gran no to ever impregnating the mayor.

I chose the opposite response and said Yes to Gran , since the MC is training Piggy and also Karen ... for me it was a simple choice.
If the Mayor was going to remains as they are with behaviour unacceptable to the MC , then there is only one tool for the job to correct the inappropriate behaviour.
