Take a look again at the game image... it doesn't look even close to a jackhammer. The weight balance is way off, there's no controls other than maybe a red kill switch in an inconvenient spot (and maybe something else near the left handle in another inconvenient location), the handles look cheap like they're meant for something lightweight, etc... all of it just makes no sense.
It definitely looks like a jackhammer, and the red button is an ignition, I'm pretty sure.
I guess you never used or seen a jackhammer in real life then. Also, ignitions require a battery or plug-in for temporary power. They don't just start from magic. And I see no pull cord either.
