The same would not work, story wise, for MC's immediate family, so there is no way for Moonbox to change that even with a 3rd-party-unoffical-incest-patch.

Turning burned-up-charred-mommy into burned-up-charred-landlady just would not work. We would still be asking where his mom is.

Well, I didn't think I could shed any light on you. But I actually realized today too how brilliantly Moon played it to avoid asking about his family.

Because he decided for a lost family just for the sake of the story? I mean it was Moon choice and we don't know if he decided to avoid patreon wrath, or simply because it was to create a foundation for MC's actions, only he knows the real reasons, so we can speculate all we want, but we gotta deal with it.
And anyway we still have a good part of the family to have sex with, I mean Nana, Liz, Cat, Sophie ( that is an acquired half sister) plus Amy ( when her time will come) it's still a good amount of family to have fun with.
Plus all the other women, certainly we have more than enough, at least imho, of course.

The problem here is that a patch only provides protection up to a point.

From what as been seen in other games that had their accounts disabled, if there is a blood relationship or not, is irrelevant. Stepcest is very much a No-No for the ones in control of the money transfers.

The only way GH was able to fly under the radar so far, is by employing the "friend" artifice. These "relationships" don't depend on blood, on marriage or on anything that can remotely be deemed incestuous. So, any blood family HAD to be killed off.

I haven't explored the "unpatched" version, so I have no clue what Sophie shows up as. Or what is the relationship between Liz and Cat, or between the O'Reilly women.

Asking for blood relationships in this scenario is asking for the game to be in trouble with some entities. Don't do that. In case you don't know, they follow the games here. So, STFU about that shit.
