I think you all are missing the KEY WORD, which is download. He never said one game/executable...
Anyone can put the multiple games into ONE archive, aka ZIP or RAR it together.
It'll still be 5 separate games inside, but you have achieved ONE DOWNLOAD.

Many, many games have multiple parts all separate downloads on Steam. Each chapter has it's own page.

1 download and the 5 parts as a hidden option meaning 1 exe and pick a chapter in game which won't work here, they don't play well together.

The problem itself is not that it is long, it is that I have to download the parts one after the other

I have to ask, what difference does that make?
If you download it all as one, it would be 24GB.
If you download it as 5 individual parts (4 x 5GB + current 1 x 4GB) it's still the same size, 24GB.
Surely the same total size = same total amount of time to download?

I must be missing something. How\why does this create a problem for you? Is it because it's 8 extra mouse clicks?
