As far as I understand , the developer are planning to give players the choice between playing as Dipper or Mabel, which will have an impact on the plot and relationships with other characters in the game.

Playing as Dipper the game will be more Harem-ish

Playing as Mabel all the other characters gonna try to get laid with her.

Good to see this coming back! I can't help but wonder what the dev hopes to do with rpgmaker that they couldn't with renpy, though. In my experience it's usually a downgrade when you start with a VN format and switch to rpgmaker.
