So, I guess it's not "abandoned" anymore after all
Anyone got the Subscribestar-Version and is it worth the 8.50 USD with the more content?

I'd definitely pay for a final version - the original Grove-Devs didn't even want that, I remember, since they were concerned of needing to adhere to customer's wishes if they did. - It seems though, that the development around them might have "inspired" (not so much in the good way though with all the crazy things gong on in the "real World" these days?) maybe some more open-mindedness to the ideas and wishes of their fans and player community, which is still a good outcome, since they are obviously still "in the game" right now. I also remember it being a passion projects - and the others they launched besides of this first one, seem to show a learning curve, too.
So, kudos to them for keeping their passions alive while still learning (mostly) intrinsically motivated from their work and feedback on/about it, if that was indeed the case. Also other possibilities there, but haven't checked their Discord for a while now since the more action-oriented Hunter-Game isn't that interesting for me. It's more for peeps with better reflexes still...old guys like me prefer round-based game mechanics with very limited reaction-time-sensitive ones, which can really take the fun out of playing it, if they're set too hard for older nerves to process the sensory input and all.
Inclusive gayme design at least offers the option to "go slow" therefore and I appreciate the devs seem to have actually taken that into account. Offering a more action-oriented combat but still the old one, too (mostly - with exceptions for bosses or hard

mobs, if I understood the posts correctly?).
P.S.: So, will there be a new Thread/Post for the new Version - since the old one seems to still be "kept around"? - or is the plan a complete transition with the reworked gayme? It does look to be a
sequel to the original Grove Gayme this thread is there for, after all since the Story seems to start off in the Northern Territories whereas the original here was starting off in the Southern ones, if I get that correctly. And if some young peeps are finding it funny, that "older people" are so honestly admitting to their nerve-system's decline...well, you'll need a good therapist when/if you're getting to be that age

, which of course I wish y'all from the bottom/core of my heart, dearies. Reality is the most relentless of "teachers", after all. And it's merciless because it's incapable of compassion and all that other human stuff, that makes us what we are. And if you're missing that, I highly recommend also finding therapy long before that time of physical and cognitive decline...will only do you good and help you cope with all that creaky old stuff beyond age 30
