You don't need a mod to play any game. I plan around 150 - 160 ish AVN's I don't use a mod for any of them.This game is another one that requires Mod to play comfortably.
(Or have I become too lazy?)
BI don't understand what the update is for this game, it ended in the same place, I am using the android version

So they went from bi-monthly(or something) updates that contained like 10 minutes of content to now monthly updates that contains even less content.
VN "content" creators truly are an interesting group of people.
