I remember that back when the original release date for the full update was announced, Byte created a special extra tier. There were people who subscribed in advance—before the update was officially released. So they paid money to get the announced update as it was supposed to be delivered back then. Then it got delayed again at short notice. Eventually, the decision was made to split the update.
As a result, the people who paid in advance didn’t actually get what they originally paid for. At the time, it was said that the update as a whole—or at least the second part—wouldn’t be delayed by much, and that this part would basically be delivered for free afterward. Now, for whatever reason, Byte has decided to add even more content. But I don’t believe that the people who subscribed back then will get this update for free. He already said back then something along the lines of “maybe they won’t have to pay the full price.”
If that’s not milking, then I don’t know what is. Those people showed trust by subscribing to that new tier in advance. In the end, they didn’t receive the update that was originally promised. So if it comes down to it—and I fully expect that it will—that they won’t get this update for free despite having subscribed specifically for it back then, then that is milking in its purest form.
