It's even funny to read this, especially since you wrote this on a pirated site. If people buy from the author and post a link to the new game on the day of the release, everyone will download it. Even you, if you don't subscribe to the author, will download the new game. Every author will find their own donors who will support them even with such long delays in updates.
Yeah I know its cliche because I am one of the ones who keep asking for leaks, but Byte has been on it for so long that out of respect for the effort, people need to give him sometime to atleast wait for him to release it or atleast dont leak it same day, having such a huge update leaked out directly would just have it demoralized to even consider continuing.

I remember that back when the original release date for the full update was announced, Byte created a special extra tier. There were people who subscribed in advance—before the update was officially released. So they paid money to get the announced update as it was supposed to be delivered back then. Then it got delayed again at short notice. Eventually, the decision was made to split the update.

As a result, the people who paid in advance didn’t actually get what they originally paid for. At the time, it was said that the update as a whole—or at least the second part—wouldn’t be delayed by much, and that this part would basically be delivered for free afterward. Now, for whatever reason, Byte has decided to add even more content. But I don’t believe that the people who subscribed back then will get this update for free. He already said back then something along the lines of “maybe they won’t have to pay the full price.”

If that’s not milking, then I don’t know what is. Those people showed trust by subscribing to that new tier in advance. In the end, they didn’t receive the update that was originally promised. So if it comes down to it—and I fully expect that it will—that they won’t get this update for free despite having subscribed specifically for it back then, then that is milking in its purest form.
Lol there are much worse milkers than to call it on one incident, its not even a pattern, and who know maybe theyll receive it for free, if not well thats something we ought to wait for.

Here's my question: are you subscribed to this author? Tell me honestly why you defend them so fiercely, this author, and you respect them in every sentence, and you should give them a chance. Well, maybe I agree with you, but you should understand that people pay money, and a month has passed, and they haven't received what the author promised, and this, as you said about the author, also demoralizes them and discourages them from subscribing further. And yes, I know some of the milkers well; some authors milk their donors for six months. Well, we'll see what happens when the update comes out.

Yes I subscribed definitely, and I rarely ever decide to support devs for the past decade. I know so because I have been discussing with him for months so I got an insight and know what's happening, he knows his current development method was a mistake and will change it to smaller more consistent chunks, because an update with over 2000 renders is too much for a single guy with a daily job also. The release's quality will speak for itself.
