As with most devs the goalpost keep moving. This one is on the worst end of that so don't trust a release date other than when they announce it's available now.

This gm will surely die,,and its actually a shame cuz the gm has huge potential,,,,I criticized this Dev on his discord channel for the same issue and instead of owning up on all his lame excuses he proceeded to block me lol

That seems like a lot of extra work for something that is universally hated here. Free roam bring nothing to a VN that doesn't release enough stuff to have branching paths.
Instead of A > B > C you force A > Leave the room> go down the stairs > Click the front door > Click on the map > Click on the place you want to check > Realise there's fuck all nothing to do here yet despite the dev adding this new generic render of an empty room > click the map again > click the school (always a school) > click the school entrance > click the left corridor > click the classroom door > B
