I can't say I'm a fan of the whole BBC NTR thing. But I'm also not going to rant and rage about it either. I don't even think a dev should make the things they want optional, because it's their vision and story, and they should tell it the way they want. The players that don't like it don't matter, they should move on and find something else in that case. Although I can understand feeling let down when a game changes on them or comes out of nowhere with it. I'm a bit on the fence in that case for this one. Either way even that I don't think is worth getting triggered over (a small vent is cool imo, we all have those days).

Yeah, I am all about the femdom too and don't care about the BBC path either, but to say it shouldn't be optional, and dev should just tell the story they want, is wrong, this isn't a kinetic visual novel, and he is telling it, there are literally two different Kalie's. Thats the whole purpose of visual novels, choose our paths. Q plays a pretty small role overall anyway, this is only like his third scene with Kalie.
Plus, I haven't seen anyone get mad at this at all or his involvement.
The one thing I do hope is that Brecleas makes the alternative scenes with just us or other people with better treatment. Cause I go through all paths just to see, and I felt like the Emily/Kalie equivalent was a little on the shorter side and quicker.
So I hope he makes the equivalent/alternate scene to this Q scene better and as long as Q scene, with some extra love, and postions or kinks, where it doesn't get shortchanged like the Emily alternative last update.

If anything happens in that scene I suspect it's going to be NTS/netorase like before, not NTR/netorare, as part of the optional NTS path you had to deliberately opt into by not protesting/not acting defensive of your wife when another man made a move on her earlier in the game.
By this stage the only way it could actually work as NTR for the real NTR fans (those who are repulsed by NTS and thus stayed out of that path) is if it was also forced on non-NTS paths rather than made optional - I don't see that happening even if I selfishly wish it did.
The game's M.O. so far has been to give you the choice to opt in/out of extreme fetishes (pegging, pee, cum eating, nts, sissy etc) immediately before they happen in a scene. But unlike those other fetishes NTR is truly about non-consent (MC's non-consent for the ntr story, as well as the player's for a true ntr game). If the player is given the choice to opt out of/into a non-consent scene right before it happens, if you have to consent to NTR right before it happens just to see the scene then it's not really going to feel so non-consensual. It's going to instead feel like you're choosing to make it happen on purpose right then and there - as opposed to feeling like you/the MC fought and raged against it as best you could. It's going to feel closer to NTS.
And it's probably already too late for this game to do it the way other NTR games do by placing the choice to opt into non-consensual fetishes like NTR right at the very beginning, before the game's even started, so that by the time you would get to the non-consensual scene hours later the choice you made at the start of the game would no longer be fresh on your mind, so that it can still feel like it's happening not just against MC's will but also against the player's.

While I agree with you that the player may opt out of some content, the choices don't occur as often as they could, IMO.
After opting out of bisexual content as the player I was required to choose between being the top or the bottom in a homosexual forcible oral sodomy scene. I backed up to the handful of prior decision points but was unable to find a way to avoid that scene through different choices combinations.
Instead, I made what I believed to be the less offensive (to me) choice and fast-forwarded through that part of the story. I may or may not have missed lore content by doing that but really did not want to observe something I find to be so distasteful to me.
That wasn't the only scene I felt the need to skip but it was, perhaps, the most egregious to me. I suppose the developer is playing to his base and I recognize that my preferences place me in the fringe minority of his players.
Nah homosexual oral stuff is definitely avoidable.
If you mean the scene where the queen domme/president presents to you her sissy manslave and suggests sucking his dick or being sucked by him I think there was an option to just avoid the situation outright or maybe suck the queen domme's dildo/strapon instead or something of the sort.

Pretty bad, but beats the alternative. That's exactly the scene to which I'm referring. What choices leading up to that would I need to change? I couldn't avoid that on any of the paths I tried... I saw no option to outright avoid it, either. I assumed it was unavoidable because two achievements are tied to it (one for each choice) and it was mentioned later in the lore...
To be honest, after replaying that scene I'm not really sure anymore if there ever was an option to completely avoid the scene outright or if you always had to choose between putting a dildo in your mouth or letting the sissy guy suck you off.
I'm now seeing a lot of inner monologue lines from the MC that I didn't remember (or skipped or wanted to forget) like him talking about how deep down he found the idea of sucking the dildo exciting and whatnot:

I never understood femdom and started this game in an attempt to learn more about "what all the buzz" was about.
I would've preferred opting out of or avoiding scenes like that one. Either option in this case crossed a red line for me personally. Now I find myself fast-forwarding through more of the story than I actually read but that's how it is.
I'm not shaming anyone's kinks just because I do not share them; I'm frustrated, I suppose, by the forced nature of the story and the lack of meaningful choices.

We'll agree to disagree on that (and that's okay) because I see either option as gay (I see pegging that way, too, but that's just my view of it). Others will see it differently and that's fine for them. My issue with the scene wasn't the gay/bi aspect; it was being forced to do something that went against an earlier choice.
No matter which option you choose, you must choose one of them so I'll consider that to be a forced choice (maybe not a forced selection). After the opt in/out "bi" choice earlier in the game, I was disappointed to be forced into something I opted out of. It's as if the choices didn't matter and I don't enjoy games that tell me choices are important (when it turns out they aren't).
I'm not hating here; just frustrated that to continue with the story I had to endure something I loathe (forced to ignore a choice). In this case I would have preferred not to be offered any choice at all and just make it a kinetic story.
I got over it, I suppose, since I'm still here...
