No, what is meant is that steam updates you automatically.

But for $5 just buy it on steam if you like it and you are sat there waiting, no dodgy downloads, no waiting and rewarding the creator for his work, seems simple for the price of a coffee.

Strangely enough, the steam versions of some of these games take much longer to get updates than they do here... at least that has been my experience.

Steam has blocked all pronographic games in my country due to parental controls.
Pretty bad move as there are enough age verification options in my country they could use. It's also a double standard as you can buy adult horror and shooter games without age verification. And my country normally has no problem with nudity.
Very annoying from Steam.

If you're from Germany, you can buy the game on itch.io. It doesn't seem to be blocked.

Yes, Germany. VPN could be an option, but there is a risk that Steam banns the account, as it´s forbitten based on their terms and condition. My Steam account has +700 games and several 1.000 Euros of value, so I want to avoid any risk to get banned.
I use sometimes key-seller for games that are not available (uncut) in my country, but they don´t offer porn games.
If anyone has any ideas on how I can buy Gynocracy and similar games on Steam without risk, I would be happy to receive instructions

That is understandable, in your case I also wouldn't risk it.

I have also a problem with a game I bought on Steam that won't work anymore. So I had to get me a cracked version.

However Bonus Christmas Chapter and Barbie's Winter Vacation are the same. If 9.3 is a hotfix fine then just put hotfix.
