Does anyone have a guide for the materials? Finding them is kind of tiring when not knowing where to look
There's the quick guide in the first page below the download links. I personally use a save editor to save time, you can also do that if you want.

Only 2 scenes for a translation update? Is the dev starting to milk patron money hardcore?
There's a complete Japanese version somewhere in the thread, I believe you can extra the arts / other assets with RPGM tools
