This CyanBrain you mentioned sound like a disaster in code and game form…
If it's the same CyanBrain that I think it is, everything in it is game-over only and the game is quite gorey to boot. So on top of being horrible to play the scenes weren't worth much either.

Its just one of those things I think its because I was on 170fps and Unity just got a bit confused but turning Vsync off stopped it from stressing the GPU you can get that in big budget games too

I mean he gave it good world building you could tell he wanted to put narrative into it but there was nothing 'hot' about it. It went Dead Space style with its deaths and the core gameplay was bad you was just walking back and forth shooting, 6 steps forward 12 steps back because you had little health. Couple game-overs were alright but it wasnt worth due to the lack of checkpoints you had.

Already he's doing another though. Im not sure if its a new game or sequel

I mean I do love me a good story, but if I'm on here, I'm not looking for just good story, y'know. It's the same issue I have with a few other games where I want to like them but the horny content is entirely separated from the gameplay loop.
(Like I don't know how to put it into words properly but I want a good balance of "fun action videogame" and "spicy scenes", so games with h-grabs immediately go up a tier for me but games that only get to the content once you're no longer able to play the game are 'eh' at best.)
In CyanBrain's case... I don't want to bother much if I can tell it's not going to be appealing to me. It's gritty (which is a refreshing setting), a fair bit difficult (which is okay, i suppose), has a decent premise but its gameplay is... it's there. It exists, that's for sure. I could probably master it if I wanted to, but it's just not engaging - not what I'm looking for. Maybe their next game might be.

To get somewhat back on track for this thread... Hachina and Mission Mermaiden hit my criteria well. Both are games that are fun on their own, even aside from their h-to-gameplay integrations, but all the status effects and changes to the grabs that occur, the fact that you're not forced onto a retry screen if you want to see a scene loop once, the genuine polish put into both animations and making the game control responsively... I like those things.

What´s new?
Nothings new. A demo was released few months ago. Only contains the tutorial level and stage 1. A game-over CG and another CG with a different character. Thats it. He's still making the game, it wont be released till next year, probably next May
