Honestly I kind of respect how unashamed this dude is, subbed to him, he makes a post titled WIP for next weeks video, two weeks pass and not a peep

Other creators often say things like "coming soon" or "coming soon" but it's usually only a week, so isn't it natural to attract attention by saying empty words?

Not really. Other creators will say coming soon or working on something. Hagen loves to say ridiculous stuff like 3 videos coming this month guys! Then 6 weeks later post a part 1 of a video thats not gonna be finished.
