sorta, right answer is easy to guess and few things are trial and error (tips for those are posted here).
I'm just getting into the game (day 20 or so), so if this is just something I haven't gotten to yet, I understand. But in the hotel tab, my "Service" level is still 0/10. How do I improve that?
Progress to a certain point where the girls start working for the hotel, then inspect their work when they are on duty.
Play the main story until Yuki joins your team. She works in the kitchen.

once you unlock it you can check cleaning done by maid (be at lobby at right time) and later by yuki and some in town too and nurse's office (by then no really need that since has maxed skills).
I know it's unlikely does anyone have a save file from the end of V0.77.1 that they can share. I lost mine and cant be bothered to replay it all
You are more likely to see saves from the point of entering illusion as dev asks to save it there.

It is a pity that dev changed Sarah's style after ending the Eris-story. Now she looks like a completely different character and her hair style is too similar to Sonya's. I liked her original "individual" style.
Some (older) events and UI feature her old look while newer events feature the new look, so the game became a bit visually inconsistant, too.
Apart from that it's a fun game with lovely girls ...

This is probably a noob question, but what does increasing efficiency and persistence do for you? I would have thought persistence would make the "6" multiplier last more than one day, but it still goes down every day even after upgrading twice. I have no idea what the efficiency upgrade does. I've upgraded it twice as well, but don't see any effect. Thanks in advance.
efficiency increases stat raise in single session
persistence reduces decay.
Invest 100G in left option before doing first personnel check. Do not bother with second upgrade level. You will have enough time slots to keep stat high. Start investing in right option when you have spare Gs. Probably after buying pool and snes.

- Persistence slows down the decay of the "6" multiplier so that it goes down by 0.5 or 0.2 per day instead of 1. The last upgrade (20,000 $) stops decay at all.
- Efficiency increases the effect of the girls' supervised tasks. You probably need only a few upgrades if at all since you want to keep your multipliers near "6" anyway and so the girls will be busy almost every day.
Hints :
- As long as you only have Alice, there is no benefit from investing into other categories than Cleanliness.
- In the early game you have enough time to let Alice clean the hotel every day, so you don't need to uprade Cleanliness Persistence asap.
- Punish Alice with an extra shift is the shortest "cleaning" event. Other rewards or punishments may take a longer time.
(It's ca 4h work + 4h reward/punishment but if she gets an extra shift it is just 4h work.)
Once you have unlocked Alice, Sonya and Yuki, your base income per facility is 6 x 6 x 6 = 216.
Note that 5 x 5 x 5 = 125 is only about 58% of the maximum 216, so even a small decay by 1 in all 3 categories costs you 42% of your income. Therefore you want to keep all the numbers as close as possible to "6".
The number of facilities increases based on story progress.

I'm on Sonya's "Session" task, which says there is a new "bad maintenance" punishment if you get her submission and obedience to 20, each. I have her submission and obedience to 20, but the new punishment still isn't available. Is it because her exhibitionism is only at 6/10? If so, how do you get that stat to go up?
Maybe you lack some items from Hazel's shop for this event or there is another quest that has to be completed before.
Look for hints either in the quest log or when you try to choose the session.
I don't think it's a lack of exhibitionism.

About Sarah's Stream and the followup Punishment Event :
- Sonya's secret power is Heal and Repair. She could have fixed her (and later Sarah's) tortured butt on her own.
- The posing of mc caning Sarah felt off. Usually you can use the leverage of arm and cane so that the cane has a longer path to gain momentum before impact. Best try it at home with some inanimate object.
MC in that scene was too close to Sarah and he also hit her with the part of the cane next to the handle, so bad angle, short path for the cane and no leverage.
