Maybe I should answer a few frequently asked questions about the game:
> Do you plan to let this game go on indefinitely?
No, I plan to let the story play out as I conceptualized it before I started making the first render. There were a lot of story elements added throughout the game that I haven't planned for, but found fun, so I just had to do them. However, the overall story is still on track. I can't make any predictions on when exactly the main story will be done, but I'm not trying to pad things intentionally. If I find something like to do in the story, I take the chance to do it.
> What comes next?
I plan to continue updating Hail Dicktator even after the main story concluded, but at a slower pace. At the same time, I have a follow up project planned, though it would be a spoiler to talk more about it.
I also have one completely different project in the works, as well as an unrelated VN-ish game (currently only exists in writing).
I'm very grateful for everyone who enjoyed Hail Dicktator up until now, so I will continue to tell the story I wanted to tell until the end.
> Will you focus on character development more?
Yes, even though there are a lot of characters. Giving each satisfying character development is difficult, but I still want to do it. However, for me, the story has to be in a certain state to drive the development without writing myself into a corner. The situation now is a good example of a state where that can be done. This current public update and the next two contain mainly updates on the island mechanics to give everyone something to do (expanding on the punishment/reward system).
As for character development, there are a lot of things I still like to do with the girls. Some of them tie into the main story, so I've been holding off until it's time to do so.
