It's lustful spirit hunt ringman, similar premise to LSH, but from what I remember they can go to different timelines/dimensions with a certain ring, and there's ring compatibility stuff going on. Different MC, Masuo, idk all the lore tho
oh Masuo huh, They made that dude mc

Yeah... I think we probably won't be getting any more updates for this game if they find out about HTA and related stuff. That's so frustrating.

Not only are they going to do (or have already done) the same thing as Steam and Patreon, but they also did the same thing as that shitty game that was removed from Steam, and anyone who bought the game got screwed because the servers were shut down. Everyone who bought an NSFW game through Itch.Io received NO refund whatsoever.

Doubt this will stay like that for long. Porn games have producers and consumers, and it's not illegal. Another platform will emerge and take the market.

Just wait a few months until these lunatics forget about it and move to their next great "feminist" cause that really helps women like by censoring posts on Twitter or adding "are you 18 years old" on Pornhub

Well it clearly seems these guys have not discovered DLSite.

What happened, I'm just curious.
I'm not sure about DLsite specifically but alot of the time when this happens is due to credit card companies american American and hold very conservative values. As a fallout on occasion they go off and decide they don't want their company to have anything to do with the porn industry which comes around and bites alot of sites similar to DLsite like Itch.io and Ci-En.

That would be never as the dev is working on his other project. And even after finishing that it's very questionable whether he would return to this.
Same. It's very disappointing for the dev abandoned this successful project and decided to work on something not even mildly entertaining.
In response (and correction) to both, “Crimson Bird” - LAGS (he changed his name on Itch.Io) said this week that he was doing the last update of LSH, and that he would leave to finish HTA, and only after finishing HTA would he return to finish LSH.

HTA = Hailey's Treasure Adventure
LSH = Lustful Spirit Hunt

Here is a screenshot with more information about this:

In summary, we can expect him to return to work on HTA in the middle of next month or a little earlier. I check his Itch.io every day, so sooner or later he will announce that he has returned to work on the game, and I will post an update in this thread, so keep an eye out if you want updates!

I'll believe when I see it, far too many devs pulled same excuse, same false promises, scam more money and abandoned everything.

Yeahhh i understand it. I have been following this developer for quite some time (years maybe?), and I personally believe that he will continue, since he constantly responds to his supporters on Itch.io, for both LSH and HTA comments.

You can check if you want.

This game already had 2 full years of post-launch development with free updates every month and massive amount of new content like the latest updates adding a whole new game mode with Annie. At this point it has what, 2O levels and 30+ H-animations? All of that, for 2$ on itch. if you think this qualifies as "scam" you are being extremely unfair and basically expecting people to work for free, I hope you at least had the decency to buy the game on itch and didn't pirate it, otherwise look no further why NSFW games are dying.

He even wrote exactly in the message you quoted that money is the main reason why there won't be HTA 2. Porn games are blacklisted by most of the professional industry now, you get no advertisement, no payment processor, no banks to finance your company, so you pretty much have to work for years as a passion project SPENDING your own money (instead of gaining any), all of that for a small hope later of making~50% of the salary you would have had doing any other programming job. You're also somewhat killing your own career because you won't be able to put on your resume "worked 4 years on a NSFW game where you can rape cute girls" and every recruiter will notice the hole. So yeah basically, you should be thankful that this game isn't abandoned yet, not call it "scam", this is pure nonsense.
