The way I see it (and I think that's the intention), all the other girls/women in the game are there for MC to get experience. Emily and MC both are rather clueless, but the other ladies are basically there to teach and help MC to be the best he can be for Emily when the time comes, ideally she needs and deserves a guy who knows what he's doing, and not just sexually either, but hopefully also how to treat women, how to talk to them and so forth.
Is it a bit of a missed opportunity that MC has but only one real LI? One could say that, sure. But this is the story dev wants to tell and I personally like the game/story just the way it is.
And hey, to me Emily is cute, she's endearing even with all that Tsundere-like behavior

Both are certainly newbs with things, then again we do see MC being a little tender with teasings and gets a loving spoonful of Em in a good way or a funner way, depending on pathage. Might be right on things.

That's also why I was curious how many episodes this game is going to last. Eight episodes in and very little progression (romance not sex) with Emily. If this game goes for 30 episodes or something then understandable, but for a shorter, regular-sized game, eight episodes with not even a hint of love for your only available LI is pushing it. Hopefully the next episode is Emily-focused. Let's see what the dev can do to change my mind about her. The problem is I think it's already too late. I'm on the Ashley train and only she can make me get off.

Not a big fan of the whole tsundere part but i kind of like Emily. I can't think of a prostitute as a actual love interest. friends with benefits, sure. I do agree that her getting the least amount of screen time is a big mistake. Dev wants to do a slow burn with Emily but this is a porn game so he adds side girls for that. Now the side girls not only get more sex scenes they also get more character development while the main girl is pretty much forgotten.

The Ashley side plot indeed took center stage in the last two episodes. I love how this developed into a not-that-innocent "Little Lord Fauntleroy" story.
This is great story telling with beautiful renders. I find this slow build up highly erotic and much more satisfying than most other VNs on this site.
I just hope that the main plot with Emily will receive just as much attention and that this game will not be abandoned or rushed to an unsatisfying end.

I hope so too, but my expectation is that it will end up like RoyalCandy's No More Secrets and rush the ending to tie up most loose ends in a single episode.
