Did the Dev lose passion for this game?
Most likely he never had the "passion" in the first place. Dude from the start worked to create a never-ending scum project that he can milk to his old age and then retire. I don't even blame Dev that much; the existence of so many brain-dead morons without any kind of self-respect but with cash to throw left and right without thinking made this to the adult games industry. Where, at my look, 2/3 of nowadays projects are scams/milking/low-quality slops.

Why work hard, with proper work ethic, and put effort into your work and have self-made deadlines if you can look around the market and see that your consumer will eat even shit from your hands for years without asking questions. All you need is to create a pretty cover (first 4 chapters) of a game with a nowadays popular scum scheme called "slow burn" then just feed your supporters promises from time to time and thereby stretch 3-5 years of work to 20+, and your goyims supporters still will be happy.

Can you have a relationship with all 3 women in the house?
Technically no.

They are all available to fuck but only one is an actual love interest that will get an ending. You will notice harem is not tagged nor planned.

Only Emily will get actual relationship status.

i disagree

first 9 updates were obvious that dev had passion and game was great. he worked slowly but everyone moves at different pace so i never criticized it. then he disappeared, reappeared some time later and it's been sucking ever since. i see several possible reasons for what could have happened

1. after the release of ep9 he already had pretty high income so it's classic shit when person falls for money. dev starts working less, enjoys the money little more and gets lost. who wouldn't want paycheck for doing nothing

2. after ep9 - maybe he doesn't do what he wants to do anymore but he feels a certain sense of obligation to supporters so he does it. this is too realistic in my opinion and most likely because otherwise he wouldn't be creating this bonus shit, wallpapers etc. so far it seems like he's doing everything but not what he's supposed to do and that could be result of him not actually wanting to do it. but coming out and saying "i'm not enjoying my game anymore" is not easy. any dev with even little sense would never allow their project to be abandoned so instead they push forward even if they don't really want to

3. just milking it? hardly disagree. dev has lost quite a bit of support since ep9. even if he decided to go this route it was strong enough signal saying "don't do this". so no this is definitely not the case

purely from my point of view: if he doesn't want to do it he should say so. one abandoned game doesn't mean the end of his career. i would rather see dev be active in projects he enjoys than doing this shit. that then not only affects endless wait for updates but also quality of content

The fact that the developer admitted that he hasn't even started working on the next episode yet is crazy.

That basically means that episode 12 won't arrive until at least the end of next year..

Nothing personal, really, but the mindset of people like you but who pays those scammers is the reason this shit happens all around. Because in your example we can see that even now there are still people who defend or justify the dev to some extent and look for imaginary arguments instead of looking truth in the eyes. I already saw clear as day years ago that this dude will not create expected content for years before he milks his supporters patience to the max, and only then MAYBE will he accomplish what he started and not just run away with cash like a lot of others. Dev actually looks at you or me as potential dumb losers who can bring him cash for his lazy "work" and nothing more. Adult game devs are not your friends or family to put this much trust and faith in them just like that.

I already wrote somewhere that I myself worked as a professional scammer on dating platforms with a team, real models, etc. And let me tell you that with my experience it is very easy to see a comrade-scammer behavior on the internet) The only difference is that adult games paying target audience is way easier to scam and milk than lonely dudes on dating sites :KEK:
