The work you put into this is awesome and it looks great. I also used some of the assets to try and create my own image of Hana getting creampied, but I’m not very skilled. Considering that, in my opinion, Mei has a cuter design than Hana, I decided that I wasn't satisfied with that. So I took it upon myself to do three things.
1: I found all the CGs with nude alts for Mei that I could find, and compiled a collection of images showing an example of how they might've looked in game.

2: I manually created a nude alt of Mei's basic dialogue sprite, using basic image editing techniques to keep things as close to the original style as possible. This is a fan made edit, and not official, but I made sure to keep it as close to official as possible. Heck, the nipples are even copy/pasted from the official unused CG alts. Fun fact: this is my first time I ever made a nude alt for anything. How did I do?

That just about concludes the results of my efforts to satisfy my wishes to see Mei nudity. There were a lot of things about this game that I enjoyed, and a lot of things that I disliked about it as well, but the lack of official Mei nudity was one of those smaller things that was just sort of mildly annoying to me once I got to the credits, so I just figured I'd take the initiative, and then move on to the next project.
I only just now learned that there's talk about a potential upcoming update to the game. If that's true, then I hope it turns out well. This game has a lot of potential, and I'd be happy to see it improve even further. Exhibitionism/exposure games are rare, so when they're done right, they're amazing. And this is exactly the type of game I'd love to see become even better.
Personally, I think your edit overall looks slighly better that Qillers, and definitely more fitting with the game's style. Sure. Go for it. I want to see this game improve, so having those extra statements would be a good way to build up some excitement.But yes there’s a new update coming here in the next few weeks. It was originally supposed to come in may but keeps getting delayed sadly. I’ve been waiting very patiently, as this is my favorite game to date. They believe it’ll release either this month or beginning of August. I hope this weekend but we’ll see because they said mid July originally. But it’s supposed to add a bunch of events throughout the mid and later game, things like random events and new types of events. I can attach screenshots of what they’ve said from the patreon if you’d like. Just lemme know.
This is interesting, because I got lucky. Qiller did this for me for free, because we happen to already know eachother through other unrelated reasons. I happened to already be acquainted with someone he works closely with, so we just got to know eachother through that mutual connection. With that context though, yeah, he was super easy to work with. All I had to do was put the context for my request into the chat, he responded "sounds easy enough", and then he got back to me the very next day with the finished product. But a big reason why it went so smoothly is probably because this was an extremely easy request to make; this game's graphics aren't all that complicated, and I was able to make my own edit in only around two hours, with most of that time spent fiddling around with the software because I had never made a nude edit before.I have a few questions for you if you don’t mind. With that out of the way, it's now time for the final piece of the update, which is to import and implement this final batch artwork, and the ones made during July as I was taking a half break during that time, working on the artwork but without touching the engine to implement it. Also still need to censor all of it.
Speaking of censorship, which only applies to DLsite, as Steam and Itch are both uncensored, the PTSD from the abominable experience that was releasing the game on DLsite is still very fresh in my mind. The idea is for the release to happen on all three platforms at the same time, but if DLsite puts on its ribbons and pulls the same thing again, I will push the release on Steam and Itch, which is instant, and just finish the DLsite release later once they feel like it. Fair warning here. I just hope I didn't jinx it...

Remember how in June I mentioned I had added a new persistent NPC event? Well, it was a simple and solid NPC event line, but I had the thought about being able to make it even better, as there were some ideas that popped up in my mind. So, I went back to give it a small revamp... 24000 words of script later though, I do question that decision a bit.
I'm almost certain this is the single lengthiest event line in the whole game. I'm comparing it other actual event lines, not NPC event lines. It's just an NPC event line, which are all fairly short and concise. How did this happen? Don't know! It's really weird. This is the lengthiest set of events, but as an NPC event line, there aren't any CGs made for it. It is all done through dialogue sprites, with it briefly reusing some of the new CGs for the later events. Also, seeing how big the event became, I think it now deserves a spot within the memory system, despite it just being an NPC event. Haven't added it to the memory system, but it's something I will probably end up doing before releasing the expansion.
Really curious to see the reception on this one, as it has an absurd amount of text, for good reason, while also making minimal use of CGs. It's a first for the game in that sense. Really curious to see what you think about it.
The only issue is that it's not done yet. Almost, but not yet. I absolutely did not expect this kind of scale would come when starting this little revamp. The wait here doesn't involve artwork, just need to finish translating the script into dialogue for the level 6 event, and then import and implementing the whole revamped event line. The word count of the event line should give an idea of how looong the writing journey for this one has been. Part of the implementation is that I also need to heavily tweak and rewrite the routines for all of the events in this NPC event line. Only other issue is that it has yet to be translated into JP, but that does not take long fortunately.
Added one more social event. I rescued the one that didn't require any artwork, and was the most important out of the bunch of social events I shelved. Great stuff in this one. This one isn't lewd, but it's a nice moment. Really needed more nice moments with Mei.
All in all, with the artwork done, the ball is back in my court. Just need to finish the last bit of writing, and then implementing the looong and revamped bathhouse persistent NPC event, import/implement the last new batch of artwork, censor stuff for DLsite, and then we are good.
Unrelated question, why is Hana is looking back at us like that? What is this event and where is it going...?

Same, there’s no real reason not to other than his preference. Why keep us waiting when it’s ready at the push of a button. To be fair I don’t think anyone as of lately is displaying any uncalled for behavior. While yes he’s the developer and he can do whatever, it’s just like with anything else. If someone tells you “hey this will be ready tomorrow” and they take multiple weeks longer stringing you along, getting your hopes up, it’s annoying. I wouldn’t say I’m even hard on the guy, but man I’ve been seriously following this since like march and every month he posts “releasing may, and MAYBE June” then “June, MAYBE July” and has done that up until now. I think moving the goal post over and over is just a tease to fans and it’s natural to be disappointed. So while yeah I agree, it’s hard work and takes time, the unmet expectations suck.I wasn't gonna say anything, but I think the real best course of action is for the dev to do whatever they feel is necessary. I've been silently following along with the dev's comments about all this ever since I learned about the upcoming update, and I also took note of a lot of the replies. There's a lot of folks rushing him, criticizing him, insulting his work ethic, so on. And as someone with a ton of respect for game developers and the game development process, all of it seems uncalled for. Further rushing of it would probably just lead to extra stress and resentment.
From what I can tell, Flimsy seems to be handling it well, so I guess I'm not TOO worried, but even so, it makes me a little uncomfortable to see this kind of treatment towards a game developer. I've had my fair share of complaints about games and about how they're handled, as well as their timing for releases and updates, but I also want to keep things calm and let the developer know that their project is up to them and them alone. I wouldn't rush things. Let it take its course.

Also, idk if you’ve read through this whole thread but well before the game actually released 1.0 people were cooking flimsy way worse than what we’re discussing. And also in terms of what is necessary for him, the whole DLsite thing is just silly imo. I already made the analogy to other media releasing dubs and translations after the original, he can do the same if it’s just ready. If you check his patreon and itch everyone’s pretty supportive of him directly including me in DMs. I just like to complain because it was anticipated for may. That’s just the downside of communicating schedules with fans.
