Description of update:
v1.5 is here!
I am calling this a soft release of sorts. More of that in a second.
Quick temporary disclaimer, good news, with some bad news, with some good news, with a bit of potential bad news. Good news is, the update is live! The bad news is, I wasn't able to do as much testing as I was hoping. The good news is that with the limited testing I did, things seem to be a-ok, the bad news is that I will be out of town for a few days, which is why I set a deadline for before I leave, the bad thing about it is that if there is an issue, I will not be able to patch anything until a few days later. This is a terrible idea, but maybe it'll work out. Ultimately, I did not want to fail the hard deadline, and I want everyone to be able to enjoy it during this weekend! The big red button has been pressed. May the F5 keys rest.

The update is live on Steam and Itch.io. The DLsite update needs a bit more time.
This was released in a huge rush, all the content is there, just a handful of effects on CGs didn't make it, but will be added in a small patch within this month. The "soft release" thing is due to the rush. This post doesn't have any butterflies or flowers, as I just don't have the time right now. Don't even have the CG to commemorate the release... I was making some nice pics showing the different NPCs and events around the world from the update, but midway decided to instead do a CG, but the CG didn't make it in time. That combined with the low testing time, the idea now is that once I am back in town, I will implement a small patch to fix whatever issues were found, and do the "proper release" of v1.5 with the missing bells and whistles.
For the time being though, I hope you enjoy the expansion! Aaand sorry for any bugs and glitches that I may have missed, will get to them as soon as I'm back!
Expect a nice and lengthy post with the proper release, as there are quite a lot of things to talk about, as well as things that I would love to hear feedback on, as there are ideas introduced here that I would like to carry on and expand on in Purple Dream!

Overall I’m not very impressed with the update. I’m sure waiting for it daily for months probably raised my bar too high but there’s not a whole lot to it right now.
So those are fine and the new guy at the inn is probably the best new content so far, curious if the later levels have any good content. Maybe part of me wanted touching or sex even though I knew that wouldn’t be happening. It’s basically the same game so far with numerous interactions around the town but honestly they repeat the same thing over and over and it won’t even be lewd half the time. Like them seeing her from behind and saying things to themselves and then that’s it. It would’ve been nice to add some soft touching/groping for this stuff I think.
So all in all; some new content is nice, the new small npc interactions around town were novel at first but repetitive so far at 4 petals. I hear there’s no mei content which is kinda weird? In one of his update posts he says “and some new content with mei and nube??? Exciting stuff!” More random dialogue isn’t really what people wanted, it’s a lewd game after all. Idk, I’m being a bit harsh, but it’s a shame to have a gold mine of a game and it’s held back by their odd preferences. But on the other hand, he made the damn thing so how mad can I be lol. I’ll report back once I’m finished.

I would die for a modder to get ahold of this. More outfits, more extreme content like touching or even sex. Not sure what we could do to make that happen but. I’m feeling pretty bummed after the update so far. It’s still nice, but I wanted more. And honestly I wish the creator would’ve focused more on putting new content into the game that actually pushes the envelope. And truly, I knew it was gonna be disappointing to not get another flower level or late game content. Padding out the game isn’t necessarily bad but typically I’d imagine an expansion for a game adding late game content. Imagine if she had 10 flower levels. That’d be awesome.

The truth is I'm still a little disappointed by the little content that the update had, but remembering that the game was already finished a while ago and that this is an expansion, it's quite understandable, but still don't expect amazing content or many things, there's really nothing, just npc that ask Hanna to lift her dress or get naked so they can jerk off like last time. I'll leave the follow up game here, there is nothing the game has to offer anymore. There are also no new outfits or new things in the previous events, everything remains the same, only events where hanna goes with someone to her room, gets naked and the man masturbates when he sees her, and that would be the most exciting part of the update, something we already saw hundreds of times. I'm being a little harsh? yes, but even with months and months there is nothing.
couldn’t agree more. It all feels like bloat. Oooh a guy here and there that says something, random pointless event #20 and that’s like the whole update. I had higher hopes.

It's okay to be disappointed, but try to remember all the context at play here.
Plus, if you want it to be better according to your expectations, well, that's why I gave modders permission to use my fan edit, so it's not like this is what you're permanently stuck with.
Anyways, it's just a game. Have some fun with it. Or don't. Up to you.
I’ve been incredibly excited for this update since May and waited through all the delays, while checking in on it an obnoxious amount. This is a forum to talk about games and how we feel about them, we’re not only limited to purely positive feedback. Still my favorite game of all time and I’m entitled to be disappointed with the new content especially since I do sub to him on patreon. I knew the expectations going into it but it sounded like much more with all the progress logs that have been posted. But make no mistake, I’m still throughly enjoying the game and it’s nice to have new things to look at again. Simply just criticizing it and giving my thoughts.

Yeah I get it. I'm also a patron, and with all the postpotements, and hyping up I understand the expectations were put up very high. Thankfully my expectations lowered before playing, maybe partly because of the feedback I've read, or because of how often it got postponed, so I'm enjoying the update quite a bit so far.
Hey, I get it, but there's something else at play here that worries me.
I've noticed that most (though definitely not all) complaints about this game are about things people wanted this game to explore that were just out of the game's scope despite being an nsfw game. I'm a bit guilty of this myself; when I realized that Mei would never get naked in the game, I went through a whole process to make my first ever fan edit of something just to see it realized even if in an unofficial capacity. Other people, however, have written their complaints about things like the game not including scenes with hardcore sex, or even really any kind of physical interaction at all, or how Hana is rarely ever completely naked and is rather just in revealing clothing, and so on. These complaints are... fine? But there's a reason why they're not part of the game, and that's because they were simply outside of the game's scope.
Being upset about that is fine, and if that's all there was to it, I wouldn't be so worried. But the thing that DOES worry me is that I know that Flimsy reads (or at least used to read) this very forum. You can see his comments everywhere, and it looks like he was the one who uploaded the game here in the first place. The developer of this game pays attention to this thread. So I'm imagining it from his perspective... if he were to check the past few pages of this forum, just going off of most (though again, definitely not all) of the recent comments, I'd think it'd give off a mostly negative impression of the game as a whole, but not because of flaws in the game's design itself, but because of things the game lacks that people would have personally preferred despite them being out of the game's scope. I'd imagine that he wouldn't take that too hard, but it worries me anyways because I've definitely been proven wrong about that multiple times in the past.
And just like the last time I made a comment about that... I have too much respect for game developers to NOT say anything about this.
Anyways, just something to consider. I'll shut up now lol

Am I the only one who didn't care about seeing Mei naked? 
I don't know, having her leading a mostly naked Hana around gives the game some nice CFNF vibes that we don't find elsewhere (since apparently 90% of town in male and the 10% girls don't really go anywhere once the pool closes)
I personally wanted to see more exposed clothes (as seen a few pages back with my photoshop-fu), but I least I was debunked a long time ago so I didn't expect this from the update

Nah. Some folks a few pages back made the argument that Mei getting naked would detract from Hana's focus as the main character, since this is Hana's game and not Mei's. Plus, Flimsy is on record saying that there will be more Mei content in the future, so knowing that there'd be more of her later on, I think there are only a small few people who were hoping to see her naked in this. Of those people, I'm probably the one who wanted it the most, since I actually went through and did that fan edit and whatnot. But I also recognize the reasoning behind not including Mei nudity in the game, so that effort was mostly just to satisfy a personal wish rather than a complaint against the actual game design.

I am personally going to patiently wait. If a mod actually manifests from thin air at some point, then yey. If not, then I'll just stay silent forever I guess. It's the same idea as with the full release, it was the most anticipated thing I have had in a longer time, then I just went in the silent corner when I didn't agree too much with the swap from exhibitionism to bukkake focus.
(I know this reply was specifically about not wanting it, but that is another thing to put on the potential wishlist if a modder rises and takes suggestions. Very good usage of her magic, didn't even consider it.)
I do worry about hurting the guy. Like I said it’s my favorite game for the most part! I have like 60-70 installed and only a few have come close. By no means is it a bad game and yeah that stuff is outside the scope. I guess my complaints could be separated into 2 camps, which would be fair and unfair.
My unfair complaints are just wishing and wanting more hardcore content, or even like a one off moment where one guy does touch her such as that instance at the hot springs, maybe he almost even gets it in her, mei saves her and then nothing else after that. That’d be a bit dark for this game but still. But you’re right that’s not what this game is. It’d be like getting mad a dev for making a gay furry game and I’m like “bro where’s the straight sex”. It kinda feels like a Star Wars movie where you really want x thing to happen and they just don’t do it.at least in my head. It’s like so close to greatness lol idk how to explain it. But in general it’s not fair to judge the game or the creator for staying within the cope of his game and you can commend them for it.
fair judgements would be just lack of content. For how long it took to get this relatively small expansion is disappointing, doesn’t push the fetish any further. Like there could’ve been more tense situations where more people almost touch her or do once. Full nudity more often, more outfits, another petal level or more kinky with the cum fetish like onto her vagina or SHE can touch them idk. Yes it’s free and it’s a nice game, but I think those are the valid complaints to have.
Hard to argue with free update though.
Flimsy, if you’re snooping around here. The game is great and I love the little world and characters you’ve built. Consider it a compliment that myself and some others wanted more, because we like your work! And beyond my disappointment with the lack of content or lack of more unique content, it’s still my favorite game. So I hope the criticism doesn’t get you down, we just want more of your great work and to push the envelope a bit more. I know purple dream is your focus now, but maybe Hana could get a 2.0 update or a sequel in the future lol. Thanks for everything.

If you play this game, you know that there can be no “touching” or “sex”.
The moment you “touch” Hana, he is threatening to become the target of the most terrifying entity in the world.
At the very least, when adding such content, the creators will make that quite clear to the user. And in this update he doesn't mention that.
It seems to me that he just keeps saying, “I know I'm out of line to complain,” but in the end he just keeps on complaining.

I like that there's the no touching 'rule', it makes the game focus entirely on accidental exposure & exhibitionism. There are some games with exhibitionism leading to sex, but games that focus entirely on exhibitionism? Hana's exposure might be the only one. And it's ok if some wish for something a little different, they should look forward to Purple Dream
