Caizer claims that the next update he will plan on doing a big Rosie event..... I'll believe it when I see it.
Let me guess: Rosie has decided to journey to Nepal to become a nun.
Considering the last update he referred to as big was the nothing beach event I don't have much faith. That and with his recent choices of angles we might get a shot from the crack of door in a dark room.
He's been milking the game for years with the lack of Rosie progress, wouldn't hold your breath on that one.
Maybe this time she will just tickle the MC's balls while she blows him, then wait another 2-3 years for the next one, lol

The game process is indeed so slow that every time it is updated, i can’t even remember the last time i opened it. not to mention that the updated content is like squeezing toothpaste, which is particularly like Intel.
slow?? it feels like its going fucking no where as the damn dude wont update what like 85% of us want.. its called happy summer and a incest game and yet we cant get any big booty or bouncy tits of "our" hot blonde daughter.. let alone a good shower time
Yea, that's why I stopped modding it, besides the fact that it was a massive waste of time updating my mod every month for gameplay that took less time to get through than my mod did to update... Besides being a waste of my time (I don't even like this game that much, the UI was just such a pain in the ass for me that I changed it a bit and decided it was polished enough to share), I felt like I was legitimizing the bullcrap Caizer does every month. I'm sure a decent chunk of people would have ignored the game completely for the duration I was modding it if my mod didn't exist.
I'm not one to throw milker accusations around, but if anyone fits the bill IMO, Caizer does... I haven't played an update in at least a year and a half, maybe almost two at this point, and I'm sure I could get through them all in an hour or so...
The worst part was when I found out that apparently he pays a coder to update the script for him. I couldn't believe it, I at least thought he was scripting the game himself. That honestly made me lose whatever modicum of respect I might have had for what's being done here, because I assumed he's one of those Russian 20-somethings who uses adult games as practice for real coding or something and wants to earn some money while doing that. I honestly have no idea what he does with his time if he doesn't even do any of the scripting for the game.
At least he added God Mode due to the mod existing, and that removes the garbage grind time wasting...
Need hero for 0.6.2 (also caizer's patreon says July will be skipped but the next month will be a continued rosie update saying "yes, it's been a long time coming.")
I think the haters in this thread should stop complaining about the lack of content since this announcement could mean nothing other than the sex we all want with Rosie , and also because people maybe don't realize that caizer is a solo developer making a super high quality game (unlike another certain boney developer who only makes excuses for not working on a damned 2d game), but yes I do agree with the majority that more often than not the updates are slow and don't add much except for when a random sex scene is added for May, Lucy, or Mika. Like I said in a previous post on this thread, I messaged Caizer asking about future content and he said the sex with Rosie is planned soon (which is next in line now for August) and that exploration of threesome content would follow afterward (i.e MC/Rosie/Lucy or any other pairs that have relationships with each other like MC/Rosie/Mika)
And at this point it could also mean 101 other things with Rosie, talk's cheap it takes money to buy whiskey. And Caizer is already well known for watered down Coca Cola.
At this point solo dev or no with the amount of superfluous content we've gotten over the last 2-3 YEARS we could've had Rosie 6 different ways by now. And to me it says everything about Caizer's true intentions when we get to the very cusp of actual sexual intercourse with Rosie, only to add mini game garbage, add 1 entirely new character and expand another that honestly should've remained a one time quest giver.
The only reason I think Lucy got a rushed sex scene when she did is either backlash or guilt from there being sex in a stupid mini game and not with the main love interests in the game.
It's one thing building a story like in Dating My Daughter, working steadily to the crescendo of having sex with Dee for the first time. Honestly I am not seeing anywhere near that level of writing here with HS to put it nicely.

So in other words if it DOES come to pass that we finally have sex with Rosie, after waiting years for this we can only have her to ourselves ONE TIME before we HAVE to stick Mika or someone else in there?
You realize 2D is much harder than 3D, right? Especially if you're doing animated 2D. Also, we can compare 3D artists to other 3D artists. Also I modded this game for ages, there's nothing fancy changing under the hood update to update. Caizer is a milker. I don't call people milkers lightly. You'd more likely see me laying out reasons why someone is or isn't a milker, and not arriving at a definitive conclusion most of the time. There is no excuse for what Caizer does as a developer collecting money from people every month to fund his work. Yes, they're not buying something specifically, but Caizer is almost in a class of his own with the drip-feed updates.

I think we should at least cut the guy some slack, he says he has a wife and kids which is enough reason to not completely spend all his time working on the game. Again, as compared to someone like Dr Bones who chalks it up to playing skyrim and gaining unending amounts of kidney stones somehow, it's a much better reason to have slow work on the game.
I mean I get the concerns of you and everyone else on this page, the updates are slow as fuck to give us anything worthwhile to jerk to, but good things take time and that time will come soon with the sex with rosie and three-way MC/Rosie/Lucy as mentioned in what he wrote to me.

You keep saying good things but even the animation quality has gone downhill. I am not really hung up on Rosie because I like all the girls but you can't tell me with a straight face that the Mika scene was good.
Yea, that's one of the reasons why I usually don't say anything... I know a lot of devs are busy and people who choose to give them money understand that, and that they are not really paying for a product per se, but supporting a dev in pursuing a passion. But like I said the thing that irks me is that I peek under the hood so to speak, and not much changes. No ill will to Caizer or anyone but even the slowest consistent devs put out at least twice what he does per release.
You could have fit in more story per rendered frame or something or reuse the same render in a location and move things along that way, the crawl in this project feels deliberate, and you don't have to be anti-dev like a lot of people are to feel that way.
And I'm sure he's not the only developer that (ostensibly in this case) has a family either. And while I wouldn't fault him for not spending all his time on Happy Summer (even if this was his full time job), it is all the more reason if he is truly that time limited to spend the time he does have WISELY.
If he doesn't have the time to dedicate to developing 4/5/6 love interests, he should stick to the 2 he started with. For that matter stick with the original star of the show Rosie. It is permissible to have more than one sex scene per love interest, and sex shouldn't be limited to just a box to be checked.
Just because there are more abhorrent developers out there doesn't mean you get a free pass.
And given his behavior during the last 3+ years, not to mention prior shenanigans dating back (from the little bit of digging I'm willing to do at this point) at least 5 1/2 years, he's had way too much slack given to him already.
Gotta keep this charade going somehow.
I am most certainly not anti-dev, far from it. I believe just about every developer has run into hiccups along the way, and I'm not going to fault anyone when things pop up out of their control or when the game has to take a back seat to real life.
I will say though what I find acceptable is very much on a case-by-case basis, obviously a professional developer team I expect a higher standard than a freebie weekend warrior solo dev for example.

It is a difficult decision . The animations are very well done.
Story rather average.
It takes a very long time for an update to arrive.
1 Update is usually a very short scene with little content.
I like the animations but I don't want to wait 5 years+ until it's finished.
Still, good work.
I'm in a lesbian relationship so I can only say this out of common sense.
If I had a family with children I wouldn't work on games like this either.
