A lot of people get around him selling the game, by using sites like this, so he monetizes the walkthrough as well, which probably catches a few people who would otherwise just play for free, and they pay him something for the walkthrough.

Well, that might not have been the case if he hadn't baited the fans with Rosie and then gave them a year's worth of updates with any and everyone else.

im still stuck with may progress and forced to restart the whole progree just to brick the save with crash and another map/minigame bug. im so done with this game
please for the love of god make so you can continue from the newest update

I got Lucy showing up at night after MC goes to sleep and looks like that's it for this "update" could be wrong but I dunno...

He's suggesting that a walkthrough and more frequent updates are determined by his subscribers, not by the pirates here.

What the dev seems to forget is that almost all of his subscribers started out pirating his game, liked what they saw, and decided to pay to see more. This is why he makes over 1,300.00 USD every month whether he releases an update or not.

And, to be exceptionally blunt, the content we get is pretty much the content his subscribers get. So they are paying for the dribble of content that he blames the lack thereof on people who don't pay - a slap in the face of those who pay.

His pov doesn't really encourage any more pirates to sign up, because the lack of genuine, fulfilling content with a plot that only consists of 'will they or won't they' or even 'when will they' when there is so much more that can be done. I mean, there are three women in the house [not that you ever see them all in the house at the same time...maybe one of them hides int he walls], and there is no threesome action? I'm calling bs on the idea that each woman is oblivious to the sexy times happening with other women.

Anyway, this is why more pirates aren't buying in to this milking strategy; the dev is spending the least amount of time possible to shove an update out the door. I used to be a paid supporter, but when nothing changes, what's the point.

I am not sure that insulting potential supporters is the right tack to take here. Being careful with how you spend your money is wise. I am fairly certain that every single person here supports one game or another financially. We want to support this game, but, as Caizer has delevloped an undisputed reputation as a Milker, its kind of hard to set any faith that any money isn't just thrown away. Yes, it's only a dollar or two towards donation, but spread that out over the several years it took for the MC to get their dick wet, and there isn't any value in that donation. Indeed, the first real sex we even saw in the game was a mini-game the MC played. That's just effing sad, guy.

By devaluing his potential pool of supporters, he's painting himself into a corner with all of the negative sentiment he accumulates.

It's a growing trend with this milking it shit. People wait 5 months for updates then its just lame old tease fest after tease fest, oops meant story building. I support several people but none that do that slow burn garbage. Multiple slow burn games have been abandoned recently so im not wasting a penny on those developers with games of that nature

I cant play since May set up in my room because i cant sleep in the other room... Also Lucy disapeared idk if its a normal thing to happen. (I play on mac)

Growing trend? Good grief you can't possibly be serious! This is no trend it's the nature of the beast. Delaying the update for as long as possible has been going on since the patron site delivery method began. Certainly all of the years I've hung around playing these games. This modus-operandi is an inherent end result of this piece by piece delivery system sucking up the loose dollars of the naive and weak minded and IMHO driving coffin nails in the artistic creative process. Only one hope for keeping your sense of reason amongst what this delivery system has done to the creative world overall is being able to
a) Stop caring if a project, no matter how good or well done it is or how much you like it or how popular you think it is will ever be finished (Sadly statistically there is about a 73% likelihood it won't happen).
b) Stop caring when the next update is going to come out. It could be a month, a year, I've seen it go more than two years. I've seen the abandoned tag come and go on so many games I've lost count. And maybe this will startle you but here's how it will go. You can go to this site's forum thread for that game and find page after page of people griping about milking and abandoning and the dev is a jerk and yadda yadda. Two years later out of the blue an update drops and everybody will all of a sudden be all giddy and excited about it again. Personally I can't wrap my head around that logic, but my best advice is just find something else to do and forget the game until it eventually drops... ...or doesn't, because whether you want to believe it or not, nothing, not even patron dollars, will change that reality. It's part of the game. Lastly and most importantly
c) it's only milking if you're letting your tits get sucked. Just sayin'.;)
