- I agree the progress and development of this game is slow.
- The dev has made no promises to get more people, to speed up development, or to make this a fap only (nukige) type game.
- The dev doesn't look like the project is their life, more like... a hobby project.
- The dev is releasing the game for free. Supporters and patrons get access to pools, some other content and the game quicker, but by the actions of the dev, supporting him or her def. doesn't mean someone is buying the game. Thus, paying him extra because someone likes their work doesn't mean the Developer is "milking" or "using" others.
I don't really have the energy or will to research more about this particular developer, but there might be more proof one way or another. What is certain though, is that whoever can't prove or point out flaws in the above arguments and keeps calling a creator names (be it directly or by proxy through their supposed actions), is simply entitled and/or spoiled; which is the main reason people keep replying and taking an adversarial stance on this.
Don't worry, you won't see me defending other slow paced developers who promise stuff without delivering them over and over again.
