Dev has it on his computer but he keeps fapping repeatedly and never hits send. Hopefully he runs out of juice soon and doesn't fall asleep before hitting send.

Getting free from a Fapping Loop can be hard.

Just to give an update as I think this game deserves to stay on people's radar, even if the recent months have been rather chaotic.
Things should be back on track and we can expect the update to come in early November.

Can't say for sure, we'll need to wait for the dev to chip in for that. But I wanted to let everyone know that things are looking bright again.

I thought you help develop the game? Maybe just translations or something like that?
But obviously in contact with the dev often. Yikes that was a terrible guess! Over two months later and still no news.

Sad to see the dev do this, Yet another game which had consistent 2-3 month updates, now lucky to be released every six months.

But given it was a guess, I don't really see the point of saying it was wrong.

I'm in contact with the dev but not regularly. There are times when it could be, but isn't. That's what I've used to make an educated guess as if I'm supposed to receive a message in 2-3 days but hear nothing after weeks, it's some indication of things not going well. And vice versa.
So all I try to do is help the dev with their blocks and issues, and help the users, with info I can guess better than most. Nothing more.

Your last sentence is the interesting one. And I hope it won't turn out that way.
It's a dev's responsibiliy to build a trusting community and this could end up costing them some of their public.
Things were meant to get faster. But it's been pretty chaotic this year.
Not much I can do about that. Up to the dev to show up and get back on track.
The Steam release is still earmarked for early 2026 so you'd think the dev has got it all figured out.

Hello Shane, this weekend you will have a development preview, and I hope that the final part of the update will already be in translation! Best regards, and my sincere apologies!

Personally, I'm not happy with the message - no explanation about the why of the delay and we're back to the 'Translation Phase' - which can take anywhere from now to forever.
I hope the development preview gives us a firm date, otherwise I have to rethink renewing my subscription.

I can't guess what the development preview will say, but what I can say, is that when it makes it to translation, it will not take forever. Typically a couple of days, thanks to the approach the dev has taken with it.

EDIT: Ok, given where we are today, and as I got no news when there was only what I thought was very short work left, I'm thinking that realistically there won't be an update this side of New Year. My guess is something is happening preventing work from being done and I haven't been able to help with it.
Let's just wait for the dev to post where they are, whenever they will be ready.

It is not correct to say ‘one year’, because on Patreon there is the May 2025 version.

I think it's the difference between games that beg to be pirated, and those who provide the free version themselves.

If you're referring to SOB, given the profits it makes, the developer isn't worried if it leaks even before the Steam version is released, as has happened. But you certainly can't compare it to this game.

OK, thanks for the clarification, I always agree that before appearing on F95 the game collects money, of course after 3-4 months I think a pirated update is not harmful. I'm wrong ?

On my part, and I think boulimanus 's too, absolutely not. We will NEVER betray the trust Dev has in us. Being unemployed for almost a year now, I would feel like doing that to him. Obviously, he doesn't live off the earnings from his game, but it helps him pay his bills.

Very sad. No posts on patreon when he used to do it once a week. Then August to September one post. Now its been almost 3 months since he posted anything on patreon. So he's only messaging some supporters by DM? Doesn't sound good - like he's not taking responsibility, just keeping quiet but still taking peoples money. To not even get a word from the dev for 3 months is unfair to all his supporters.
