I have a thing for female main protagonists and this is a fine one: Life in Middle East, but the shitton of slurs is a turn-off. Dating sims like OUR are perfect. The female protagonist can 'disable' the slurs by shutting down the dudes that she dates or encouraging them, or stop the sex and kicking them out. The same goes for the male protagonist who can choose 'humiliate', but not all the girls will be happy and can also shut him down, change the relationship, or even completely ruins everything between them. Devs with brains like Eva Kiss are rare.

I'll have to play a guessing game with the main screen, since I don't speak or read whatever language this is.
It's probably a good idea to translate the main screen options, as well.

EDIT: I see it's in the options. I'm just used to a lot of games having a totally different downloadable version for each language, and not having them all in the same download. Myyyyy baaaaadddd. lol

Universal TextBox Mod
Add Sliders for Textbox Opacity, Text size, Text outlines, Textbox width and Text position.

There isn't a Universal text mod that I've found so I've been modifying the game files.

The only requirement is a Textbutton must be added to the Navigation screen.
Included a modified Navigation screen, should work in future game updates.
Textbutton should be permanetly added to the games screens file but that's up to game dev.

This is one of the best AVNs that go straight to business, far from being a slow burn. The groping scenes are one of the best My only complaint is the excessive use of slurs like slut, bitch, whore. Must have the right moment for those slurs to pop out also the word good girl is a reward for a submissive girl, but is fucking a masterpiece. The girl can easily be considered the hottest FMC ever made

I dislike excessive use of slurs too; as you said, it's better when they are well-placed. However, I generally find "slut" to be more appropriate for dirty talk than "bitch" and "whore" (which seem more degrading to me). I suppose it's the idea in part that a woman could be more of my personal slut (or at least is more sex-specific), whereas the latter two imply other things (e.g., hostility and sex for money).

Having said that, if you think that the use of slurs in this AVN is excessive, then you (like me) probably would dislike it even more in The Singer. Calling women "bitch" repeatedly is the standard for The Singer.

You should consider one thing, every dev makes his game according to the customs and traditions of the country where he comes from. So it makes it more genuine and outside certain standart patterns, which are dictated by the Anglo-Saxon world.
The Dev, if you haven't figured it out is Spanish and the Latin world is much more 'colorful' than what I mentioned earlier.
Just the fact of hugging, kissing or shaking hands, when greeting or meeting, is a normal habit of ours, and it distinguishes us, we are warm and sanguine people, even dialoguing with each other.
The use of words like 'bitch' or ' cunt' is in normal language, of course there has to be a minimum of confidence. It all depends in what context it is done, and so it can be considered offensive.
So I understand the enormous effort boulimanus makes in trying to adapt the English translation, but one cannot ask the impossible of him! Loren mainly has a very strong rebellious character, is Spanish, so he gets hot easily, likes cock in all forms, and more...

I thought about that, the words "puta" (slut) and "perra" (bitch) are no big deal and can be much more intimate than offensive for them. But for 'us' is quite annoying, maybe more for me, I never was fond of dirty talk, and the plot is all about sex, giving a lot of space to slurs.

In my opinion it is the player who has to adapt to the game and not the contrary, of course then one plays as one wants, but the package is all inclusive otherwise you sterilize everything removing the personality.

I don't know, but for me, dirty talk is a Kink, which I don't have. But I do respect every kink. The renders and animations of this AVN are top-notch, and the plot is not complex but good enough. My review is still 5/5 for this AVN. However, I confess that I skip the text in h-scenes.

I am with you. Which plot??? What kind of slowburn?? There is no Story at all. There isn t even a Story where it is worth to fight for your Love/Wife. Day 1 : lovely Housewife! Day 1 1/2 : free to use hole, for the Family and the whole Neighbourhood/City (i forgot her "Business" Meeting)!! Maybe someone can rewrite her Character a little bit, because her behavior isn t normal at all. My personal guess is that she is mentally ill. Look at the ingame text : She s jealous that her Hubby likes Kirsten (Kristen??), but she never talks with him about her feelings and because she doesn t want to talk of that she s lying, cheating and manipulating her Hubby?!?! And on top of that, she has no shame, no dignity, no self control and is fucking around?? As a woman she has the worst Character ever. She is unnormal selfish and a Narcissist. Best Ending for her would be : Hubby catches her fucking in a threesome with...well...anybody....and throws her over the balcony. Last Render could be that Laura is standing at the next Street Corner as a crack addict and as a 5$ Whore begging for Cocks...and so her "wish" is fullfilled...! Hubby gets a new Wife with a sane mind. End of Story.

Other words are used at times, when the moment is more playful, like 'minx'. Whilst others have been avoided completely, for being too offensive but also inappropriate, like 'tart' or 'trollop'.
It's definitely not always easy but you have to consider, that most of the time here, the person using the words 'slut' or 'whore' is indeed asserting their dominance and wants to degrade the recipient. There are also quite a few cases where the original version has more of those words and they've been removed from the english version to smooth things down.

That's nice to hear... A good idea would be persistent pet names, one of the characters calls the FMC 'sunshine' and others something like that, all the time instead of just belching slut, it's a kind of way to say that guy owns her by calling a pet name.

Okay, now stop whining, but what plot do you want to create in 7 days? Because maybe you didn't realize that is the length of the game?
It's been almost 5 with 2 and 1/3 to go, and it's been determined by the dev that he'll finish it within this year, so what plot are you looking for?
So if you don't like it find another game and go whine somewhere else.

Alright, no need for anyone to get upset—it’s just a game!

To avoid tagging too many people, I’ll try to clarify some things about Hard Days and its development in general.

Loren is a strong-willed woman—impulsive, passionate, jealous yet open, submissive yet dominant. She loves her husband, but at the same time, her desires cloud her judgment. Yes, she has contradictions, like everyone else. But this is a game—everything is exaggerated and fast-paced to keep it engaging and eventful.

I’m not trying to tell a deep or emotional story. If that’s what you’re looking for, this might not be the game for you. Hard Days is about Loren and what happens around her—everyday events in her sex life. And again, everything is exaggerated. It’s a game, and everything unfolds from Loren’s perspective. You may or may not like it, and that’s completely fine—luckily, there are thousands of other games to choose from!

As for player choices, I’ll admit that I should’ve included more at the start of the game. I’m working on improving that, and in the latest updates, there are already more options available. The arousal system will also be adjusted as the game nears completion.

There isn’t a dedicated lesbian route, but lesbian scenes are gradually increasing—especially in the upcoming updates.

The game will be released on Steam once it’s finished. My goal is to complete Hard Days sometime after the summer, possibly by the end of the year. But as with all game development, you never know for sure.

Geko1711 is right about language differences—translating between languages can be tricky. In Spain, for example, words like guarra or perra can be derogatory, but they can also be used playfully or even jokingly between close friends. Their meaning changes depending on context. Every country has its own way of speaking, its own expressions, idioms, etc. You’d be surprised how many "offensive" words are completely normalized here—Spanish television doesn’t accurately reflect how people actually speak in daily life, that’s for sure!

Luckily for English speakers, boulimanus is doing an outstanding job with the translation. It’s not easy to accurately convey tone and expressions from one language to another while keeping them natural, but Bouli is handling it masterfully.

Maybe Italians and Spaniards are more similar in the way we speak and express ourselves, which is why Geko1711 finds it easier to translate into Italian—but I’ll let him confirm that!

In any case, I’ll try to improve on that as well—or at least tone down the amount of "offensive" language a bit.
