I have saved file but how can i load the game from saved file? it shows as empty slot

Anyone have an answer to this? Saving from my house has me save a file, but I don't know where to put it, and loading doesn't let me select a file, but offers a list of saves that is empty.

And 'Load from file' throws an error.
