Man where did all the animations go.Why release it? the older versions had animations and this new "better" version has weird ass shaking of the screen going on and the youngest sister just more retarded than ever. The dev is really on a mission to make the game "Hard to Love" :HideThePain:

Yea.. then I think you would've really hated the original. In this version at least it feels like the dev is giving the player a few options for the mc to not be as much of a wimp.
Storywise I think this is actually an improvement but it gets overshadowed by the whole A.I art thing that people really hate.
The art in the original was the one thing that pretty much everyone agreed that it was good.
AI art aside, I disagree with the consensus the original was better. The original was a clusterfuck of random bits and pieces of a story that didnt tie anything together and made no sense. At least in the remake, love or hate it, the dev focused on THE STORY. We finally see a coherent backstory on why we should care about all these women in the MC's life and what happened in his past to make him so tortured and miserable in the present.

So you think that Arlette's and the prostitute's background stories do make sense, huh? oh, man.

I'm telling you 3 scenes that make MUCH more sense in the older version than in the new version:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Overall, IMHO every character's behaviour makes more sense in the older version.

I'll tell you the reason why you like the new version the most: because you are an incest hardcore fan, therefore you are happy that

Anyway, the story is 90% basically the same.

Well, the main story is really the same... However, many scenes have changed and several characters look completely different...
And the fact that there is no family fight, no groping of Madison, no kiss from Mom, no sucking after Amber's pool scene... These were quite important scenes in the original version... As a compensation, if you sleep with Amber, you can have a little fun in the morning... The jerking of the images is annoying due to the lack of animations... I'm looking forward to seeing what old content DEV changes, because for example the real sex scene with Amber later on was very good, and the animation was also fine... If he cuts this scene too, then for sure i forget this game...
But overall, you're right, the new version is much less incest than the original...

NO, I wrote and I think the opposite. The new version is more incest oriented.
Well, I must have misunderstood what you wrote... Do you think that by omitting the scenes I mentioned? After all, these were the scenes that make the current and old episodes so different... Don't get me wrong, I'm neither against incest nor in favor of it... Only the two versions are totally different in these cases... And if I take this as a basis, then in which there are more scenes like this, I consider them to be incest content... In other words, there were more of them in the old version...
And one more thing... In the original, I remember I didn't know where Antonella was for a long time, but the new version quickly leads to her and anyone who notices knows... And I hope I'm not wrong about this...

Nice straw man argument, I never once brought it up but since you went there, the incest had no bearing in both versions since you got scenes with the mom in the original version, and you get scenes with Amber in both versions. To your point, we get more background on the non-incestual LIs, i.e., Arlette and Paz in the remake that were not present in the original version. If I am supposed to care about Arlette and Paz, it would be nice to have the proper context in how big of a role or impact they have in the MC's life.

As for the family confrontation, we still see that in the remake flashback... where the MC is kicked out of his house by his asshole dad while his mom and sister looked on helplessly, it made the original scene unnecessary, and chances are, we'll still see a version of it when we get the inevitable confrontation with the MC's dad in the present.

Finally, no one's behavior made sense in the original, it was a series of vignettes that were loosely connected if connected at all, and jumped from random character to random character with no real insight or explanation what was going on and why they were acting the way they did. What I took from the original was:

-The MC was depressed after Antonella walked out on him and their daughter
-Amber has always been in love with the MC
-MC has a daughter he has no emotional connection with yet she inexplicably became jealous
-MC was a cop
-MC had a smoking hot ex-partner who seemed too emotionally invested in his life
-MC has a random gf we see briefly in text messages
-MC has a dysfunctional family and an extreme asshole father who seems shady as fuck.

You know what was missing from those random scenes? That's right, context, the same thing the dev tried to showcase with the remake.

From what I can gather between the graphics of the original and the remake, the only difference I noticed is that the remake has a brighter background than the original. That's just my two cents from what I can see, though I'm no expert in these things anyway.

The remake gives background to the original story. The girls of the family are gorgeous (also if the body of Madison should be rewieved, it seems unnatural and with a butt too small and badly connected to the legs) ; so there is still a lot to do with the Mom, Amber, Isabella, Madison, also Nanami was cute, i would not add too many new females. Sex is nice if there is sentiment and connection, otherwise it becomes just a cold porno of which there are tons around... Amber supertop from this point of view, and also Isabella

Certainly! To disable screen shaking in your Ren’Py visual novel, you can follow this approach:
  1. Define a variable to control whether screen shaking is enabled or disabled. For example:
    default enable_shake = True

  2. In your script, create a menu that allows the player to toggle screen shake:
    label start:
    menu:
"Do you want to enable screen shake?":
    pass
    "No.":
    $ enable_shake = False

  3. Based on the value of enable_shake, apply the screen shake effect:
    label game_label:
    scene bg with shake
    if not enable_shake:
    "Muahahahaha, I'm not feeling anything!"
    else:
    "Woaahhh!? Earthquake???"
This way, players can choose whether to have screen shaking in your visual novel.

Sorry i have no idea how to do all that, i can't even get into the script..
