Dude, I understand your point and I agree. But the real culprits are not the developers, but those who finance them. People accept these ramakes and continue paying. And the longer it takes to evolve the story, the more the developers win. Why do you think these remakes are becoming more and more common?
I believe that making games....
Let me say something first, that utopia of donating money to someone to make art, do what they like (in this case games), is in the past, today it is purely business (with rare exceptions), you pay, the developer posts an update (theoretically).
Returning to the subject, making games today is like any other commercial segment. You set up your business (in this case, games), but keep an eye on your neighbor's business, and if your neighbor created something that made more money and with less costs (in this case, remakes), you will definitely want to do the same.
I personally stopped supporting this type of content a long time ago.
Developers always start well, with regular updates, but after gaining the trust of supporters, illnesses begin, family problems, employment problems...
Remake is just what's hot right now.

Can be , i'm not paying shit to play any game and delete remakes after trying.
Does it contain enough content compairing to the original?
Are the graphics/animations better?
Is the lewd the same or better?
If so than i'll be happy to play and keep.
And if not : DEL.

It's looking like very few people actually were impressed by the boneheaded decision to reboot using AI filters. If the Dev team is raging over the backlash then that means they're getting that backlash from patrons too. I suspect that the only people who liked this remake are people who - for whatever reason - actually like the AI uncanny valley garbage. For the rest of us, it's repulsive. I don't think I speak for just myself when I say that it's a major boner killer when a girl has 7 fingers on one hand and her forearm is fusing into her thigh.

Well, i don't know how to tell you but...it's a public forum and everyone is free to discuss, criticize or praise a game, that's the whole point of this site y'know?

People complain because this used to be actually a pretty decent game but the dev literally ruins it by remaking it every single time.

He didn't need to remake the game again and use AI (which i'm not a fan of personally), the game was already good as it was.

I didn't understand why the remake at first, but it was going amazing, but now dev switch to another "remake" using the first version again...
This gonna get abandoned, right?
