Yes, there is, but it is not like it was where everyone was in agreement that it was horrible and ruined the game.
It's being used as a tool rather than the process itself, as it should be.

My employer uses AI to process x-rays of product. We have to perform 8 x-rays per hour and production stops during that time. Each one took 5min doing them manually. Using AI, they now take less than 60sec, and most of that is quite literally the x-ray process itself. That means rather than running for 20min per hour/between x-rays, we run for 52min per hour/between x-rays. We still have the exact same number of employees, the training is purely on the job and requires zero certification, and it has led to a 70% increase in the starting wage for all positions.

AI isn't bad. It's a tool.

Never needed a remake in the first place, they could have used this "tool" to touch up some things, "before the remake" is still the better version.

What's the status of the content with the daughter and the little redhead rubbing up against us in the kitchen?

Here, special for you, I found in this same thread only a few atrocious examples of dev using AI as a "tool" as you called it))

Your own example is nice and all, but there is one small problem: it doesn't have anything to do with the matter at hand. Dev used AI just to scam her supporters to accept prolonging the development of the game with a dead-on-arrival AI remaster and, in the meantime, minimize her own working efforts. Visuals were the only redeemable quality of this game; they didn't need any remastering at all in the first place. It's clear as day that she took her supporters for fools and expected that they would eat her remaster as given without any questions, but even the blind will see that she used AI very excessively, without proper learning and careful checking of results and actual reworking. She was caught actually lying about things here and there, like I remember that someone found out that she used AI even to write the game's code, while she stated that she used AI just for visuals. But when shit broke loose, all she did was write hateful posts with insults to everyone who criticized her shitty and obvious attempt to scam people into accepting a way worse version of her product as something better.

Algorithm pattern processing =/= Generative AI

One helps you sift through the noise to help develop novel medical treatments, the other is a 'tool' for scam artists to plagiarize content by proxy. We've had 'AI' for decades; linear math and algorithms have powered search engines on the internet since forever. These transformer based models are something else entirely, but everything now gets shoved under the umbrella of 'AI' cause we live in a grift economy hellscape...

197 new renders, what a trash update have they at least put in decent animations?

What the difference between before remake and after remake?
Before the remake is just like it sounds, before they remade it with AI, it also has animations and no AI shaking screen and other weird things. Most agree the game stopped once the remake started and is not nearly as good as the "before the remake". Not sure why it was remade even to begin with.

Remake is them remaking it with AI involved (almost entirely). Instead of animations you got a screen shaking for sex. She said after the backlash she was going to back off on the AI and start doing things like the old days with a lot less AI involvement, but not sure how much has been done yet. The remake still isn't caught up with "before the remake".
