I got a malware warning after downloading the zip via MEGA.
As I got the very same warning, for the same malware, for another zip I downloaded shortly after, I suspect it's more to do with MEGA. Will try another mirror after posting this and add the results to this post.

Crashing for me in 0.11, can't load saves, only start from the beginning.

Are you sure you use the 0.11 version of the game? Cause the game got and bugfix update and is currently at 0.11.1 and the mod is for 0.11 and there might be problems (not sure tho, might as well work
).

Maybe you previously have some kind of mod installed or file modified in a previous version of the game
Hiya got a fresh install of the mod and game for Android, mod button is not showing in game did i install them wrong?

Game version is 0.11.1 and the mod is for 0.11
Not necessarily the problem but that would be my guess.
The folder for me says 0.11, but I also tried unzipping it again and trying without the mod, and it still won't load saves. It says "00actionfile.rpy" has something missing. I remember fixing this same issue in the past when trying to use this mod. This is the only mod I've used though.Are you sure you use the 0.11 version of the game? same story here, had to restart before (in 10.2 i think, mighta been the prev version), am not going down that road again, if anybody has a save from 10.2 i would appreciate it, otherwise i'll just stick this on tha backburner until it's done. There's only so many times i'll start again from the begining, even for this.

I have v0.11 of the mod on v0.11.1 of the game, and it seems to load saves from v0.10.2, various v0.11 betas, pre-release v0.11, production v0.11 and v0.11.1 just fine. Haven't exercised every option but seems OK so far.

Bizarre thought: But the game loads very very fast with the mod but when not, its slower. Does Lain compress the file or what happens that causes this? My computer is less than a year old no less...

Friggen typo, sorry. I have v0.11 of Lains' mod and it seems to work OK with v0.11.1 so far.
yea, not for me i'm afraid, refuses my saves, any saves, just kicks me to the start, if you have a save from 0.10.2 i would appreciate the chance to try it

Have you tried making a copy of your saves, then downloading the mod and the game separately. Add the mod to the game, then add your saves. that way any trace of the previous mod or game is gone. That's all I did and saves work.
