I like Ashley, she gives yandere vibes. Maybe I'm weird but I like that.
Ashleys so much more than a yandere, shes a had a shit life and still turns out to be an awesome person, you'll find out why she acts the way she does, what her motivations are, such an interesting journey with her, feels were very much felt.

I'm not sure how I'd feel with the MC fucking his sister. Took me a minute to get used to Kali and her sister.

I'm OK with both. If Runey decide that MC has a sister and she will staying at the hotel then it will be so and if he decides against it then it will be so.

I don't have a problem with the incest games and I sure have enjoyed my share of it. What I don't like is the usually lack of interesting story and the usually MC 18 years old, virgin, constantly horny and with a horse sized dick goes back to his long lost family - or not - and all the female NPC are "magically" attached to his dick in less than 5 seconds after they have seen him.

Same goes for the none incest games try to bring me a unique story that catch my interest and I be on board. If the story is good enough then even if the games lack any kind of "action". Do the 100 variant of a overused setup and I only stay if the renders and models are exceptional.
Or, "Estranged father comes back, finds out his daughter (who he hasn't seen since she was a baby so he was never really her dad) is hot, they bang." I kind of want to see a father-daughter game where you have to do actual parenting, like grounding her for bad grades, helping her get her first job, requiring that her homework be finished before any sex, etc.

Oh I know, I played the whole game, I just like the yandere vibes she gives at the beginning.

Yandere is usually a female who is romantically obsessed with someone to the point of using violent means to get them.
My understanding is that it's more general than that, it's a girl who is attached to someone far more than is healthy. This often is the crazy jealous violent type, but doesn't have to be.

I know/knew a girl who tried to drown herself once, and then ate crackers laced with bug spray because she couldn't understand that I only thought of her as a "sisterly friend". But she never tried to harm me, and always became buddies with the girls I dated.

What is the definition of that? (She's since adopted the Goth lifestyle and writes Vampire novels AFAIK)

I always figured it refers to the people who'll do evil, downright criminal things to remove any "love rivals" out of their way. As long as other people are of the appropriate gender and interact with their love interest in any way (and are attractive I guess), they'll be seen as a threat and and become the target of violence. Ashley's scene where she almost poked Maria with her pet knife was a good example of this.

Ashley did threaten to stab Maria that one time.
She has threatened a number of people, including the MC. She was full blown Yandere, and is still a bit borderline. I can see one really bad day pushing her right back on that path. Let's hope that doesn't happen. lol

Means they will be really sweet, until something threatens their fantasy, then they will do anything to keep it in tact.

I remember reading a short comic about a girl who the PoV character said she had pretty eyes, so she gave him one of them. She didn't come across as being a danger to anyone other than herself, but I'd indisputably call her a yandere. I believe the literal translation of 'yandere' is 'sick love'.

As the others already said match what is written on Wikipedia:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glossary_of_anime_and_manga#Y said:
yandere (ヤンデレ): A term for a person who is initially loving and caring to someone they like a lot until their romantic love, admiration and devotion becomes feisty and mentally destructive in nature through either overprotectiveness, violence, brutality or all three combined. The term is a portmanteau of the words yanderu (病んでる), meaning (mentally or emotionally) ill, and deredere (でれでれ, "lovey dovey"), meaning to show genuinely strong romantic affection. Yandere characters are mentally unstable, incredibly deranged and use extreme violence or brutality as an outlet for their emotions. Yandere are usually, but not always, female characters

Yeah it was pretty wild. She came across as a real sweetheart, but one you'd have to give constant supervision to avoid her injuring herself again, or train to understand what is and isn't appropriate in a relationship. I just wish I could remember the name of it, or even the hentai site I saw it on.
