So, if your idea for a permanent little money boost should be implemented, I hope that the possibility to repeat the photo shot does not get removed completely.
But as we are on this topic right now. I always wondered why the MC is selling the pix to some random dude.
From the rest of the story this somehow does not match the character as I see him. He is always protecting them and this is like offering them up to some pervert.
The good thing is that we can choose the option to make the photo shot and sell or not sell them.
For my part I always did not sell them to some pervert, so at the beginning of the game I am short on money as this income is missing for me. But that is OK, I do not see a problem with the option to sell them or that I am short on cash.
For me the best solution to solve money shortage would be to just make the outfits that are not needed for progress cheaper and easier to get.
Keep Elvs, Story Items, Bar and upgrades as they are and make the optional outfits cheaper.
I always save all the money till I have all the needed things like Story Items, Bar and Sanctum, only then do I start buying outfits as they cost me to much in the beginning, but at that time I am not short of money anymore.
An option to make them cheaper and that would also add a little to the immersion is a random event were a girl comes to you and mentions that there is a nice outfit for “Fun Time” on sale right now and asks if you would buy it for her right now. And then you get if for 50% of the normal price. Everyone is happy about a bargain for something you wanted to by anyway later. In a case like that I would by an outfit even before I have all the other important stuff. That would mix it a little up in what order I get the items.

Well, she already has her own place, so there's no need for her to move in if we got an option to visit her whenever, ala Ellen. Or just more scenes at the bar. Or all of that and more. Which I hope happens (Moon might be my fave ).

I'm not back up to the part with the Tribal Chief, but honestly I always thought if there was to be another
character it would be her daughter that would move in. Just thought it would be the better easier storyline.
Eh, i like Vanessa in an isolated system but in-universe she's pretty crazy and a real security risk, she's already probably got the MC on some government watch lists from the stunt she pulled in taking him to a protest and put the whole Nia/revolution/sanctuary stuff in jeopardy... having her live in the hotel with her record and the watchlists she's no doubt on would be insane.

Of course, I wasn't suggesting that the option to replay the scenes just for fun be taken away, only the monetary incentive to do so. (Though, rather than having repeat viewings remain an action that uses up a time slice, it might be better relegated to the gallery.)

People, especially in America, need to stop seeing the color of everything and assigning preconceived notions to it.
And being on F95, I'm sure I'll get a lot of shit for saying this, but social justice movements are a good thing, and is a big part of the story in Harem Hotel. Every main and side character deals with a longing for social justice. From Kate being bullied for being autistic, to Nia attempting to burn the system down for a new one to take its place. To yes, even Vanessa protesting slavery. There's Android trying to be seen as a human, Ashley trying to find a family and climb out of poverty, Maria being seen as an object (and now literally is one), Sylvia being a pawn in the High Elf Queen's game, Jin dealing with addiction, etc etc. I could go on.
Freedom from all forms of oppression and slavery is a huge part of social justice movements. It's a huge part of this game as well. Don't let the media in your country blind you in order to maintain the status quo. (Funnily enough, I also write about this)

I say that after playing through the game and finding that a lot of the assumptions I had about certain character's personalities were wrong or only part of the story. HH has great character development in general (good work on Android with v15). An underground media figure like Vanessa is a boon for the HH team.
I really appreciate that. Changing a reader's assumptions on things is something I try hard to write. But I think you've only understood half of what I was trying to show the reader. This topic may be too much for this website, and or too much for the average porn game enjoyer to read into. This takes a lot of understanding of history, even going back to ancient Greece and the struggle between free people and enslaved ones, and the philosophical debates of their time.

Being autistic myself, I see most social concepts from the outside looking in. Generally in a more objective and historical aspect. What you may see as faux, I see as genuine. Especially since I'm a part of the group the Nazis were trying to exterminate only 80 years ago. We don't live in a world where good people are accepted simply because they're different, but that doesn't mean we can't get there. However, believing social justice movements are bad or fake will certainly make it harder.

I put zero thought with regards to her “crazy” as being tied to hair color or SJ actions or anything beyond these basic bits …

the part of the story where she exhibits her nosey/curious(crazy(invasive)) fact finding within the hotel …
but then she adjusts with the situation and the wild & crazy gets tempered via good communication with another person (I forget if it was Lin,Kali, or Maria) that tempers that descent into “who knows” …(it felt like it was going elsewhere(good writing or possibly an over imagination on my part))
IMO Lin, Kali & Maria are all the “bedrock” or “bottom” bitches of the harem … the girls that are facilitators and semi leaders. (More good writing)
