Being a writer myself, the rule is you write for yourself first and hopefully people enjoy what you do. As a game, at the end of the day, yes, you are creating for your fans but you have a story in your mind and staying true to that story is vital. I love the game. I love the characters you've created and I love how things have been, are, and seem to be progressing. And I would have liked to. Some like you have come in this thread not liking the cornwall event for valid reasons but get way too angry over it. Have you suggested any alternatives? I don't remember.
If I'm able to think of an alternative path that leads to the same outcome, and I think it's great, then I'll absolutely consider it.
Do you at all see what's happened in those quotes? You had complained about the cornwall event and I was completely open to hearing suggestions. Cornwalls events are pivotal to Lin's story because of the outcomes that could happen. Those specific events could possibly be replaced with alternatives if what I said above holds true.
And yes, I obviously don't want to hear for the hundredth time from the same person complaining about how bad and pointless you think something is if you don't see the full picture or understand why it's happening at all.
