do the animations get better as you play the game ? cause the reviews ive seen, everyone seems to be raving about them but they're really not that great... compared to other games. Just curious if it actually gets better later on

They're about as good as you can get with Honey Select. HS doesn't have the customization options that Daz does, I think.
sorry if im misunderstanding but what does honey select have to do with this game? are they the same game ?
Almost all animations are smooth, a few of them are only around 3 images.

You say that but I've played a lot of Renpy games with videos and they work fine. This is pretty much the only game I can think of that uses image sequences for smooth video, the only other ones that do that are like 3 fps.
I see it on most of them, but then I don't play many these days, and many are 2D, so it's been a while. Maybe Ren'py changed something, it used to be a big issue, but even BaDIK used pushes when it came out. I almost never see actual video, other than on RPGM... But then, like I said, don't have time for messing around and taking things apart lately.

The new update is great, but the wording on the Hana event is a little less than ideal. Maria calls the MC "polygamous" which isn't entirely accurate. That normally refers to marriage and can carry some negative associations. Going with "polyamorous" would be a much better choice. Particularly given how much the game focuses on you having actual relationships with all of the women.
Anyway to rewatch story events? Using Lain's mod and they don't seem to be in the gallery (like the cabin trip with Emma, Felicity, and Ashley?)

The animations are pretty smooth. I don't have the know-how to even begin to guess how it all works, but even if they're just short loops on a... well, loop, I honestly couldn't tell.
Speaking of loops, Runey, I haven't checked if this has been mentioned before, but when the scene rotates during the PC's and Nia's conversation while on the boat at night, there seems to be a visual artifact left behind in the form of that giant white "+" sign in the middle of the screen, just before the animation loops, typically seen in Illusion games when one moves the camera.

Some of them I would only do the belt for punishment, like kali and Emma, others simply because i think thier reactions would be cute. Like Lin, and Felicity. I recommend turning on transitions in the settings. The fade from black should cover that up.

Ah, thank you. I don't actually remember having messed with the settings before. That's either off by default or I should begin considering taking memory enhancing supplements.
