What is odd to me, is that kind of implies that she is far sighted, since she needs them for close things, like the shower, computer, and bed, and most of us life long computer geeks are near sighted. XD
Hell, now that I live on my pc since I had to become a shut-in, I almost never wear them unless I am going out, and I can barely see 5-6 feet/2 meters in front of my face!
Don't get me wrong, always had a bit of a thing for the 'glasses girl' trope, and I love her in them, but I do have to laugh about that one.
We did see in her downtown lust event, that her glasses DO have some special features, like the color changing lenses, so maybe they do also have some feature that makes them stick to her head, and auto clean themselves (no water spots). The wiper blades would be funny as hell, though I suspect with her it is more useful, like a water resistant coating, much like a UV film, so the water just rolls off of it and won't stick.
To be fair I wear my glasses all day due to cornea deformation (not sure if this is the correct english term) and see fairly ok with and without glasses, I just get a murder headache without since looking at anything is a huge effort so that might explain the constant wearing.
For the shower I just assumed in a future with Humanlike robots they'd have the tech to coat all glasses with water repellant coating like the one you can apply to Motorcycle helmets.
Weird that I've never seen this being asked even though I've been lurking here for way longer than I'd like to admit.
That's why I didn't even search, I just assumed I had been here long enough to have seen it lol
