From what I remember, you need to "sneak around" at night, go to Lin and tell her to not wake you up. Then go to the girl that you want and is available to wake you.

for all of us whose old saves are not working, its cause we have been using lane's mod leading to missing variables causing crashes with the latest version.

In order to use the old saves with new vesion ( who have been using it with lain mod) will have to wait for the updated version of lain's mod for v.12.

dunno, i actually never heard of JoiPlay but when i checked runeys instructions for android user regarding how to play this version on android i followed hist instructions i downloaded the pc version (the compressed one) & now im steamin through the game right now, my advice tho: do not use the cheat code for money it will close the game, it will be grindier now but i kinda like it actually.. so yea playing with JoiPlay is fine! give it a wack!

I'm know this is idiotic try use it on newer client - but at least worth the try.
