Yeah, no. Slavery goes on still in (probably) nearly every country in the world in various forms. Just because it is illegal does not mean it doesn't exist. And just because governments fight it, the fact that it does broadly still exist, means they are either ineffective and/or complicit.

I can see how Honey Select would limit it. One of the best decision Runey made was to hide the MCs face. That's RIGHT! I remember all the past posts about the girl in the wheelchair character being included or not to add a disability dimension to an already diverse game. Kate's impassive face reminds me of a student I had when I taught Pharmacology before my own disability. My student was at the top of her class, but could not associate well with the public, so we got her a job at a research lab where she interacts with the same understanding staff ever day.
