The way I see it at the end of the day it's all just electrochemical impulses in neurons forming complex computations. So whilst the hardware is complex indeed and the software has to be complex to match it there is nothing preventing us from eventually understanding the human mind, and thus the human condition on a mathematical level. It's just bloody difficult.
