Once we fix the world enough that it isn't hell any more than sure. That's my take on it at least.

Either way, now I am torn between playing when the next update comes out and skipping it for until we get a couple more simply because on one hand I really like what is going to happen but on the other I am really fearful that I might get another gut punch. God I love it when art invokes such strong feelings in me. You my man are a true artist.

Well, even if we don't change the world, elves and half elves count as property, and can be inherited, so she would be able to 'stay in the family' worst case scenario. We could leave stipulations in the will that she will always be treated well, same with android and the other elves. At the very least then, Kali's kids will have incentive to keep them safe, too much money on the line.

They could even set up a foundation which could legally be the owners, and maybe even find a way to make them mostly autonomous.

I'm a bit more confused about the brand and fashion sense thing. She was marked permanently against her will and she has never chosen what she wears. She also cares more about what people think than most as her whole sense of worth comes from the price tag placed on her. The reason she has these unrealistically large tits is because there is a market for big titted slaves.

So many of the traits you're attributing to her are actually visual indicators of her traumatic past. None of which she ever had any control over as a slave.

This isn't a new direction, by the way. Jin's first event has Lin trying to get her real sister back and get her off the drugs. And I've been hinting this transformation for quite some time.

I don't believe that her current personality will go away, though it will likely soften, and she will regain her 'loving big sister' traits (at least, that is my hope). Like her future body style, it would be a blend between what is it now, and what it was before the drugs. It certainly is not as if she will suddenly become meek, she will just care about more than just sex and how that related to her self worth, she will learn to like other things as well. The new Lin is pretty headstrong when she cares about something, so odds are, that will be the same for Jin.

Like any other drugs, it is likely to leave a lasting impact on her, both physically and mentally. It is quite common with people who spend many years on drugs, some changes in the way you think and act will never be 'undone'.

Personally, I mostly like her future body type, as I was never overly fond of the balloon tits she has now (they look like implants), and I am also glad he is not going to regress her back to an A-cup like most other common elves. Though, I am mixed on the branding, I get why she might want it gone, but it was part of what made her stand out among the others. The new outfit is a bit much though. Looks like something Lin borrowed from Autumn. I do hope she at least keeps the kimono (maybe remove or fix the stockings). I mean, compared to what I have Lin wearing, it's pretty tame... lol

I can't really stand yandere or type A tsundere, so any change that makes it less likely that someone is going to chop off my dick or stab one of my lovers, the happier I am.

That was part of why she was so loyal to her last master, she thought he loved her, but maybe he didn't treat her half as well (at least if you are doing the luxurious food, and letting her use the hot spring, you could even add another new upgrade for it to trigger the new event, like air conditioning or softer mattresses).

The idea is that she comes to him, wanting to thank him for treating her so well, and making her feel special when they are together. Maybe she could even come to him at night, and unlock sleeping with him. Hell, could even be a tag-team with Peni, they come up, have a bit of fun before you go to sleep. As you say each to their own - breasts are well covered across all sizes on your game but we really gonna nerf the biggest ones? Its just her and Ann with the mega melons... i mean there would no danger of inflating Ashleys so not sure the reasoning behind changing the figure of Jin's. Android at least gives us the option. Ive said many times already now the things i most love about her is the THICC body and her personality to which shes completely unabashed or ashamed about her attitude to sex. If this is an issue i presume were gonna change Marie too? It was a given the likes of the brand would go but her dress style does not at least to me equate to slave... the collar and chain of course is akin to the brand but the dress? is that really what you were going for? She has had plenty of freedom for some time since the update which allowed us to add her to the hotel (couple of years now surely) and ive seen no dialogue of the MC offering her zero control in anything from how she dresses to the brand to her personality around him or others yet now its an issue?

Even in the first event you wrote you also maintained Jin's defiant persona regarding her body and her using drugs to maintain it against Lin no less and i praised you for it and called out Lin saying even in recent post that it made me think less of Lin having zero consideration to what Jin had to say on the matter... it was Lin wants so Lin shall get. Still its your game. I can only express my disappointment in the direction you're taking the character just like ive expressed regarding Ashley. Besides that one event though i have to plead ignorance regarding the hints you've dropped for some time... i don't recall any such hints and as said even in that one event it wasn't hints coming from Jin and more instead pressure from her darling of other Patreons Lin (im not even joking, i replayed from scratch after revamped scenes coaxed me into checking them out but missed said hints in their entirety). The game used to have characters for EVERYONE... now its just characters for the masses as the extreme ones like Jin and Ashley get utterly neutered of the very things which made them unique in the first place.

I dont see the pay off in all this - was Jin really so offensive as is shes gotta get the complete 180 treatment? As if we dont have adoring waifus being pissed on in the dungeon against their otherwise shown nature? we're all aware that we dont have to consider it canon but a side treat for those who like things a bit more extreme. Not anymore though i suppose, my hype for this patch has certainly gotten the full 180 treatment and were nowhere even near close to playing it yet haha. This is my fave porn game and my fave character, i shouldn't be this triggered but i am. I apologise if i'm coming off as an ass or being unconstructive in anyway but i gotta speak my mind on it. You undersell the Ashley change - less crazy does not mean you had to completely remove the femdom aspects of her character as has been the case going forward for a LONG time (outside optional i assume non canon like Dungeon content in the maxed Lust Mechanic) so i don't think i'm over reacting at least to how much Jin is gonna change and be as i called it Older Lin based on that evidence.

Like, those scenes were fine, even very hot, and i just can't understand why they were removed. For Lin i think it's just to keep the number of exhibitionism scenes always 4? Because if so, it's a pretty unresonable limit. Why not expand on them? Giving characters more exhibitionism scenes? So now if a character receive new ones, the old ones will need to be gone? Just "because reasons"?

Kali's ones are an even worse exemple. Her new scenes are not even in the caffe. Why not let her have both? It's because the other characters only have one set? Honestly, if so, that's a pretty backwards way of thinking. This could be a nice opportunity to test giving each character both, caffe and beach scenes. Would diversify a part of the game that has been pretty much the same since forever. Instead, again, if we get new content on this side, it's at the expense of the old content.

Even tough the answer can only give Runey himself.
I think it is because of two things:
A) This game is in development
B) Most of us improve if we accumulate practice. Thus most of us will think that some things done earlier when we haven't had this practice we could done now better. Yet, not everyone will go back and redone something he had done earlier one, but Runey have done it and will do it.

So, your only way to avoid this, is to wait for the game to be completed before playing.

Runey has been revamping old content he wasnt satisfied with (as well as some other scenes based on feedback from us fans) as hes come along way with experience in creating sex animations, character models and dialogue scripting etc. I would look at it less as stuff being cut vs improved as i can vouch that a lot of the stuff replaced was showing its age. I personally for example requested Lins kitchen blowjob scene to get reworked as well it was static, there was no jiggle physics for example which were afforded to her many other scenes so yeah it was dated and as a repeatable one i felt it needed touched up so he did exactly that to his great credit.

As for Kali? well i confess shes my least fave main girl so my investment for remembering all of her exhibitionist scenes old and new is less than yourself but i do recall thinking the new ones are far more fitting the character and organic as she was coaxed into basically in the end getting fucked in public for money was it not? in the newer ones i recall shes on the beach instead where Lucy is also on site goading her so all of a sudden its the sibling rivalry adding a motivation to go exhibitionist vs money (which lets be honest she needs least of all the characters in the game).

Just my opinion though - another consideration was the plot holes i recall others posting about on here a good few patches ago where for example Hazel would reference cafe exhibitionist scenes players had not seen... it wasnt because they had missed them by say a glitch but because it was optional content so yeah optional stuff being mentioned as canon was confusing a couple of players so he prob thought change said dialogue and move her content to the beach like most of the other girls. The only ones still to have exhibitionist scenes at the cafe now i recall are Android, Lin and Ashely and of those Hazel interacts with the two maids of course not approving of their past endeavours with the MC at her establishment. As for Ashley i dont think theyve interacted yet so they can still be considered non-canon optional scenes but then weve no idea if Runey regarding the two of them meeting or not.

Im dreading losing some of my faves too - hes looking to completely and utterly change Jin in both personality and figure so all of her old repeatables scenes like the dungeon ones will have to go as you cant have her old model on hand for repeatable scenes there when she has a brand new one. Its the price we're having to pay for a better product (though personally i see zero need to change either of those things on Jin and as such the old dungeon scenes should remain lol)

So, first things first, it's one thing to improve on an existing scene. Making the models better, making the physics more realistic, even changing camera angles and such. This is all fine. The problem i see is when those scenes are completely removed in favor or new ones. It's unnecessary.

And to be honest, in no way i feel the new Kali scenes are more fitting for her character. No, her old scenes had nothing to do with money. They showed her more submissive side, even ending up with she pratically asking the MC to "rape" her right there. Compared to that, her naked yoga doesn't fit the character *at all*, and would be much more in line with something Maria would do. It really wasn't an improvement in terms of story or character.

Finally, i'm ok with character changing models *in game*. In fact, i would say this is something i would like to see more: having character change their visuals as their story progresses. That is fine, and if that locks you out of a certain scene, that's all right. Not ideal, but at least one can always just loand an old scene and revisit those scenes if they want, something not possible when old content is removed from the game entirelly.

If you were a new player, you would never know about the deleted/changed scenes.

As someone mentioned, this isn't a finished product, but a developing one. Oh, and it's also Runey's developing project, not ours to dictate changes. Heck, Runey could wake up tomorrow and decide to kill off all the characters as is his choice. I think he has been exceedingly gracious when dealing with all of our questions, comments, and ideas.
You know some folks complain all the time about the file size? So if some changes have to be made to accommodate them then others get upset.

This isn't a suck up post to Runey. I've asked about things before and he's responded very kindly. I did, however, see another game developer recently on f95 cursing out everyone and threatening to stop working on the game and just being all around ugly.

Since Runey sees the overall picture of how his project will turn out and I don't, I'm just going to enjoy the ride.

Of course this is Runey's game, don't get me wrong. But as a player I can still give some feedback, even if sometimes they can be a bit on the angry-ish side.

And also, maybe i'm just a bit salty with how the gave has developed. To be honest, i have been on and off of this game for a while now, and don't think i ever got past the elvens island quest. I just get bored, and end up reminding why I hate visual novels in the first place: too much talking, very little action. One thing i liked about HH is that the game started very focused on the action. On walking around and interacting with this characters. And now it seems each update brings longer and longer scenes, to the point of being overwelming and making me wish there was a "skip" button to them.

Some smaller scenes more focused on the porn could be a very nice way to balance things out. And new caffe or beach scenes could improve on one of the games's least explored aspects, that being the exhibitionism. But then, when we do get something along those lines, it's at the expense of the content that was already there. It's... pretty disappointing, to say the least.
