Oof. The lack of Nopy is definitely going to put a dent on my willingness to download larger files. Mega annoys the crap out of me with that 5gb limit and how shamelessly it pushes us to download that app I will never get and the others are just so monumentally slow for the most part that I don't even consider using them to begin with.
The only other host that had acceptable speeds for me was zippy but I very rarely see that one being used, so I imagine there's some sort of catch to it too, like uploaded file size limits or something.

So Lin and the MC in what sure as hell isn't the hotel, unless new renovations were done. Maybe they went on ritzy vacation or maybe they have a place of their own? I'm sure as hell curious about this. Day 827, I know that really doesn't mean much, but still, two years into the game, looks like something certainly changed.

Would be cool if the hotel got an upgrade as we play, the walls and doors look a little dated tbh. Not a big deal of course.

love who you want! it's a harem after all so you are bound to have a favorite. Right now I like Autumn since she is going through a fuck you daddy phase and she is kinda innocent having being raised under such a religious family.

It is one of those games where I would not mind the dev just working on it in perpetuity. 100 years from now, Runey's head in a jar will still keep making this game, with future generations still asking daily when the next update will be. Traditions must be upheld.

Nopy was great tbh, I can live with Mega though. I hope this was a one time thing and we don't lose more.

With how things are going, I wouldn't bet on the safety of other sites, either, unless they all start being proactive against the things that get them this kind of treatment, which renders them useless to us.

There are still some other good ones (when they get used), but I won't use mega if there is any other option, they are just too much of a pain (my arm is disabled, clicking and scrolling hurts me, so adding extra clicks to the process causes me physical pain), and anything over 4-5gig or whatever their limit is, won't ever start on my downloader anyway.

There are better options for now, that might change sooner rather than later if this NOPY issue was any indication.

Yeah, not sure which will replace nopy.
It was fairly quick for me as well as the fastest out of the usual choices, and as Devian said, didn't require any muss or fuss to use with downloaders.

I think it was anon that I have used a few times but is just painfully slow as compared, like by several hours.... Another wants a capcha each time you try..... We'll see. I bet business has picked up on those now though... lol

Also, mega can be a pain if you start several transfers before you goto sleep, for example...

There was discussion a while back about upgrades, though mostly centered around a character concept, a girl in a wheelchair. There was talk mostly about how she would get around considering no elevator in sight. Maybe this could kind of 'revive' that idea as part of the upgrade.

While I would be worried about Runey's well being if he did, I wouldn't mind the game taking the permanently continuous update route, either.

There will always be ways to host them, even if we have to do it ourselves with file sharing and torrents, the problem is the same though, how to get payments when everyone who handles the money is anti-porn? We need to get porn officially declared a basic human right.

This is why he takes some time off between updates. Help recharge the batteries. I hope I can manage that at some point, but I am far too much of a work-a-hollic.

Lol, couldn't agree more, ( but I think sticking with just one game, might get a monotone, ( just my opinion though ), but who doesn't want a game to get finished, especially a game, ( or games in general too ), that catches one's eyes, which, unfortunately, doesn't happen often, but when a game comes along that DOES catch one's eyes, well....., ( lol, I thought, honestly, that, My New Family wouldn't get far, that it would turn into a "Why the hell did I even bother", but instead I came to totally fall in love with that game, the story, and the characters ), so I can honestly say that, that goes for this game as well, ( hey, I'm picky when it comes to game, the characters, story, background stories for each of the characters. etc. ), all have to appeal to me, otherwise its a waste of time, ( apologies if that sounded offensive, lol ), anyways, yeah, I agree, I just hope this is one of those games that gets abondonned.

I agrey. This and Monster Girl Dreams are works where I wish you could clone the producer so we will get infinite updates.

With the closure of nopy, there's no really good way to download this game due to its size. Mega caps out and the others take >16h. Does anyone know if there is a torrent for 13.2 available? Thanks

All links are generally in the first post, doesn't look like there is a torrent. I reckon Runey has to do something, either update patches or maybe rar archives or something at some point.

Yeah, he is working on a patching system. We will have to see how it goes.

He is doing update patch for the comming release. Yet, this won't help with the size of the whole game for new players or some who have lost their previous game version.
Only heavy compressed helps, but even then, it is only a question when the game is becoming really big again. Assuming the addional compression is factor 7, then if the normal download becomes 35 GB in size (we are at 7 GB and only Runey would know how much of the game is done yet), it would be over 5 GB again...

Thanks for the heads-up, working on it right now. Unfortunately with the loss of nopy this means it's slower for me to get the files to make the torrent too, which is a major kick in the nuts. Once I have it though, I'll have a torrent up minutes afterwards. Might take an hour?

I was actually thinking about this a lot last night and was debating setting up an FTP server and seeing if the uploaders here would be open to uploading new updates to my FTP so I could then use the files to create torrents. I'm unsure if it's something they'll go for but it's definitely something I'm looking into

Can help with seeding, having a big disk and a fast connection

That's true. Even so....it's not in Runey's best interest if we can't download the game. I'm sure he'll figure something out.
