I'm sure that'll be great for some, but do you have any idea the shitstorm that's going to happen because of all the people asking how to install it and why they broke their game because they installed it wrong?

Yes, it will be an issue.
However, it would be pretty easy to make an update installer using NSIS.
You don't have to do any registry keys to say "x" was installed. You just have it auto install on top of wherever it is told to install. I'd just take the added step of making sure that the primary exe was at the root as verification.

I fully expect that we'll be getting people asking for the new release for a week after it comes out.

The questions about the next update should start shortly after it drops, at which point we'll get even more wings, so I figure that campfire meetup will last for a hot minute. We should probably bring drinks as well.
