There was a major change in the file structure with v0.13.2 so you're going to need that version if you are planning on just installing the Update version of v0.14. Otherwise, you'll have to download the entire game.

This has been brought up many times. It's not very feasible because the girls' stories are largely asynchronous so you can get pretty far in one girl's plot line while barely even starting another's. This means there isn't a good splitting point. Additionally, it wouldn't help as much as you think since all the repeatable scenes, which is where the bulk of the animations come from, would need to be in both Part 1 and Part 2.
I don't think this will be an issue, as of the latest version the file structure has been organized in such a way as to allow easy update only patches.
If your old saves don't work and you're getting the

This helped me load saves from 0.13.1 with Lain's mod to 0.14 just fine and i haven't experienced any errors with the story so far.

Yes.
Go to the MC's computer, and click the icon on left side that says "Codes"
type in "truestory" without quotes
Clones becomes sisters/twins
.rpy files are text files so that's normal.
Either right click on the link, 'save link as' and make sure the resulting file has a .rpy extension
Or left click on the link and right click anywhere on the page, 'Save as' and remove the '.txt' from the end of the file name.
I'm not sure if it's even possible to modify my post so it offers a download instead of just displaying the attachment.

Christmas seems to be coming early what with all these stellar updates coming out this week.
The Android version is the same, or more accurately the Windows version IS the Android version. this game is too big to make an APK, so it is necessary to use Joiplay with the Windows version.
You might want to try the compressed version that's in a post a little way up from yours.

This update is one of the biggest, a lot of the content wasn't story though, it was elsewhere like dates.
I would recommend starting a new save that you never mod, mods will usually delay when you can play by days, weeks or months. This will happen every update.
I try my best to design the game in a way where the player should never be confused what to do. If something isn't clear, I'll try my best to make it clear.

She's just now starting a new arc, so things are stabilizing emotionally for Maria's story. I write stories like a rollercoaster, so if you just went down, you can expect to start going in the opposite direction next, which is up in this case. We aren't at the peak of her new arc yet of course, but there won't be anything near that rough in Maria's story for quite a long time, if ever at all again. Next update will probably be around 9.2GB if I keep up with the same amount of content I've been making (which is more than v0.11 and before I feel).

The game is already heavily compressed, and now that we have multiple different ways to download it, there's not much more I can do without just stop developing or stopping sex.
