Okay guys... Im really feeling like an idiot right now but... I read that for this update there were some more scenes with each girl and the new date system, Ive talked to every girl and went to every place at every time of they day but it seems like I cant trigger another scene, only new content Ive found is Marias dates and some moon bar scenes (Tho im not sure if this is content from this update or if I just hadnt done em before), any tips? I checked the wikia but idk if its not up to date yet since the update came out recently or if the added content was of another nature than the friendship point events, I also tried checking the transition screen for the icons as some user told me before but theres nothing in there. I also read there was some content with the queen Jia somewhere but I cannot access it x.x.
I used to play using the Lain-mod but now that lain seems to have retired I had to reinstall the 0.13 mod into the 0.14 version because otherwise the game would crash when loading up my save, do you guys think this could be the problem?

When you installed that mod, you reverted to v0.13. Your save is forever reliant on that mod and you won't be able to play updates until the mod updates. I recommend starting a new save and not modding it so this doesn't ever happen again.

Well, at which point was Lin happy being a slave? The moment you met her, she was terrified of you simply because you were new to her and you had power over her. In her very first event you have the option to ask "Are you scared of me?" and she flat out says yes.
Edit: I forgot to mention some nuance. She loves being your slave after getting to know you well, but never loved being a slave in general. I tried showing this off better in Sylvia's remade event. A lot of earlier events were like this, I almost see them as the frame work of the events that replace them now. Such as Ashley's scene where she reaches peak obsession/craziness. She goes on about the people at school giving her shit and says she doesn't need anyone but you, etc, etc. It's only like 1 minute of dialogue. That will probably be remastered at some point. But many things will be kept simple too.
Everyone still loves the dungeon, and I'm still releasing content for it. I will even eventually remake a lot of it and add the ability to make them call you a title like Felicity and Emma. All this content was made to be repeatable so you could do it in the future (or present now).
I don't believe Ellen has changed her opinion much.
The harem is still sexually submissive, but they've become more independant, which is what I think you're noticing. Lin went from a period where she was afraid of you, to willing to do anything for you, to becoming a more equal partner. This was definitely always the plan. You inherited a broken hotel which filled up with broken people, and through progression you upgrade your hotel and relationships and fix many parts of both. I've always wanted to create a story where ACTUAL developments occur. Not something like a level up, but actual character development. Sometimes this gives players the wrong impression (especially since this game is a work in progress) that characters are a certain type of way, or are changing into a certain type of person. (Some people were afraid Lin was going to turn into a turbo slut like Jin for a bit.)
But of course the story evolves with each update, and all the feedback I get. I couldn't tell you with 100% certainty what will be in v0.15 at the moment, but I always have a direction, and that direction has never changed. Priorities have shifted very early in development though when people started complementing me on the story and wanting to know more. I think this was around v0.3. Who knows what this game would look like if people didn't encourage me to write more story, but if that shift didn't happen, the game would probably look more like a dating sim and sex unlocker instead of a true visual novel. I'm glad I went this direction though, because it was what I also wanted to do. I enjoy writing story a lot more than I enjoy writing sex.

I'm not going to go back and replay the early game to extract quotes, but she was very enthusiastic about the MC for quite a while, including when a blonde elf popped her head over the hedge. I'm not really arguing that she was happy about being a slave, necessarily, but that she was happy with her role vis the MC, happy to be his submissive, happy that he did D/s things to her, and defensive when questioned about it. That said, I don't need to rely on Lin. Kali absolutely loves being sexually humiliated on the beach. So did Maria. So did Ashley at the café. A love of submission and subservience is woven through the entire early stages of the game.
And then the story starts interrogating that love. Which is actually my favorite part of the story, and why I'm still here rather than having written it off. I'm not criticizing the change at all, I'm just asking if it was always the plan. Because the game does exist in a sort of weird between-space. I can piss on my girlfriends because they came without permission, but I can also defend their rights against a society that wants to rip them away. Do I have to do the former? No, obviously not. But I can. And most of them seem to like most of the punishments, as such. Yet the overarching narrative is telling me that this is wrong.
I like that, if I'm not making myself clear. I embrace the conflict and the ambiguity. I was just curious if the game in which we were humiliating tenants and whipping them for coming without permission was always the same story in which we're participating in society-deforming revolutions to free them from that very thing. Because if so, that would be amazing.
Yeah, she was happy for a moment, but that happiness was a facade and wouldn't last long, especially to someone who views time like elves do. As Sylvia questioned in her remade intro: "What are you doing? Why are you so content? One of these days, you won't be so happy with your meaningless lives." A little rude, but quite spot on. Lin wants a family with MC, and Lin didn't have much to say when it came to their child having no rights. This was the motivation for Lin to stop being so content, but she's also a selfless person who helps in any way she can.
She is still very happy to be MC's submissive slave sexually, but it's important to separate fetishes from actual rights. That's actually a point I want to show off with this game.
"Freak in the sheets, proper on the streets" would describe a lot of these characters very well. I think Vanessa especially shows this trait off well. She's a social activist who fights for freedom, but she has a fetish for being tied up and helpless during sex. This doesn't mean she secretly likes slavery, she just has a fetish for it that corresponds to her character. I think the biggest point here, though, is that during sex they're able to exercise a form of control they couldn't socially or legally. Think about it; Maria gets pissed on socially, but likes it sexually. Lin gets tied up socially, but likes it sexually. (I don't want to make it sound like these fetishes came from trauma though, it just corresponds and also shows you can want both of these things at the same time)
But yes, this was always the intention, always the same story.

What are you talking about? Runey just added more sex scenes. It was never about owning slaves and has always been about either A running the hotel or B protecting the girls from slavery. Even the slaves he does have are either not owned by him at all or are owned by him because he had no choice in the matter. He doesn't even technically have his own credentials as a slave owner.
This game has always been about telling a story.

Nah, don't be. That this was the point all along makes me admire what you've done even more.
I once wrote a 750,000-word story about an adulterous relationship. I made everyone absolutely love the characters and everything they were doing. And then I killed one and made the other suffer for close to a decade. Which was the plan from the very beginning. Stories are almost always better when they're traumatic.

What is the FULL list of requirements to see all additions to which scenes? prior to this update I relied on Lains mod to know if a scene had extras (i.e exhibtion lvl xx for Lin to just change clothes in the open at the store)
I usually get everyone to 10 as soon as a stat becomes available to increase, but just wanted a little checklist I can have on my second moniter for reference

Just get the friendships level higher with each girl. I don't think there's an Exhib/Sub trait for that. Just keeping doing the events for each girl, it should unlock soon enough.
