This is a leaked, unreleased, and buggy version of v0.5 that was not meant for people other than bug testers to play. One bug being it doesn't tell you when you completed their story.
First, make sure it's set to True, not true. the Capital letter is important.
But, you should be using Unren to unlock the console anyhow, it works like a charm!

In fact, if the Elf contest in this release doesn't drive that point home then you're not paying attention. The goal of this game is to have these girls worship your cock, loving you is a part of that, as it makes them more maleable.
Of course, our MC is a blank slate, for the most part. So we can project whatever we want onto him beyond the narrative, so maybe he does genuinely love them back, I know I play as if my MC does, but that doesn't change what love is used for in this game.

This dev doesn't deserve the kind of negativity you're expressing in this thread towards themselves/other posters and no, you're not giving constructive criticism before you attempt to make up for your poor behaviour so far. Runey is one of the only active creators around who genuinely seems happy and content with communicating directly with fans of the game. One who actually seems to care about what the common folk say, the last thing we need is a reason to make someone feel uncomfortable about continuing to post in their own game's thread.

Besides the frame rate of the animations, what I most noticed in my first hour of starting a new playthrough yesterday (other than events being weirdly chained) was some minor clipping issues on Lins first Blowjob. I think she needs to open her mouth a little bit wider or something.

Even for side characters you should probably think long and hard (no pun intended) about killing them off being fitting for a porn game. Death just isn't sexy (some folks have particular interests, but I don't think this is the game for them).
Oh, there's nothing wrong with that, the big issue with death is that it's irrevocable. Going through tough times isn't the same thing at all, and going through such times with someone can bring you closer together. That seems quite appropriate for the game, which is more about relationships than it is just straight fucking.

I really like this game. The variety in characters, both their behaviour and apperance. So happy it's not over populated with girls with oversized breasts. And you get so many different personalities to cope with. Please let this game continue for a long time. I think I must suport this on Patreon.

My thoughts on taking on the Elves from the contest.
They may or may not be correct but this is how I`m seeing it atm.
Jin: Seems to think her only use is as a sex object. Fixable: maybe, but long assed process.
Sylvia: High maintenance, too wrapped up in her own self importance: MIGHT be useful to teach Lin Elvish.
Suri: Has most potential, She`s just like Lin was when you took over the Hotel. Plenty of possibilities for growth & expansion.
Ann: Lots of possibilities also, especialy after the trust / love she had for her current owner took a knock at the end of the challenge. Good story potential.
The Drow: Another that`d be hard work, at least til the language issue could be sorted out.
